Remarks

I came to know about this University through my Internet Research. The admission process was so easy I must say. Leave everything up to the Management, they will take care of everything. Eligibility criteria are normal, they understand what type of students are entering the University. To be specific you must have appeared for Jee Main or equivalent and must have secured at least 60% in 12th

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course out of my Interest with nothing in mind like I'm just targeting placements and all. The teachers are all good. You will find them supportive and the thing which I liked the most is they are always polite. Talking about their qualifications most of them are PhD Exams were balanced, you may say moderate level. With regular studies, you can easily pass every subject with good marks.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There were many companies that came and offered multiple roles. SDE, BA, etc are to name a few. You will be under internship till you complete your degree High Radius - Stipend - 15k - Salary - 8lpa Just pay - 30k - 29lpa

Placement Experience

You can avail of in-campus internship from 6th sem and off-campus from 7th sem Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, TCS, and other giants usually come. Till now highest package offered was 42lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no hike in the fees in the last 4 years. There is a scholarship of 10% if you attain the exact 10 CGPA. Financial assistance is also provided in some cases. There is a huge opportunity for Internships and Jobs, with a really competitive salary.

Campus Life

Our annual fest includes Algorithm, gratus, etc. Library is really huge. To be honest we never spent our time there. Classroom has good seating, there are ACs installed. There are multiple groups and clubs run by students, one such is Coding Warriors

Hostel Facilities

In a hostel room you get a single bed each, (option of no. of roommates is 2, 3, 4. Meal quality is up to the mark, better than other engineering colleges. Hostels are affordable, like they cost you 10k per month (living and mess included)

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges.
