A Fair and True Review of UIT RGPV Bhopal

You can get admission through mpDTE counselling, for that you should first give JEE mains. Reservation is there as prescribed by the Govt. More than 80 percentile is required to get fair branch but for CSE and IT, you must have scored more than 93 percentile in JEE.

Some professors are very good and cooperative, but some are not that good. No. Of professor is good and sufficient for teaching. Most of them are having PhD in their respective field and their teaching methods are nearly fair. And I say term exams are conducted at regular intervals without any delay.

Internships are available only if you tried hard. You have to apply to various companies for internships. If you want then you can surely get an internship. Some alumn companies give a fair stipend but these are rare.

You can get placed after the 5th Semester but you can get an internship from the 3rd semester onwards. TNP department helps a lot in this but you also have to do some hard work in getting an internship. Placement is fair for CSE and IT branches but poor for other core branches. The highest package reaches 12LPA and averages between 3-4 LPA. Many companies visit campus but mainly mass recruiting companies and startups.

Fees for 1 year is Around 24000 , if you include other charges too,it comes to 31000. You can pay this in installments. Scholarships are available as per the govt norms and the chancellor's scholarship is also awarded to meritorious students. You can avail MMVY , post matric scholarship, NSP and other scholarships. I have got MMVY scholarship which is state sponsered scholarship .

Campus Life is good if you want to enjoy. It depends on you ,how you will spend those 4 years in the campus. There are many clubs and societies in the collage like Asper, E-Cell etc. You can take part in their events and even organise your own event. TedxRGPV is a shining star in campus Life. Sports facilities are decent but it is up to you how you use them. College has a very big central library from where you can issue engineering books at no extra cost.

There are three hostel for boys and one hostel for girls. One hostel is reserved for specific purpose which is different from mentioned above. Mess quality is fair but not that much good. Hostels are in good condition and livable. PG rooms are also available in nearby.
