M Prashanth Varma's Review On Christ University, Faculty Of Engineering, Bangalore

I haven't taken any of the entrance exams. I have come to know about this college through my uncle who resides in Bangalore. I have got admission through an interview taken by the admission team of CUFE.

The course plan for every semester will be given to the student at the beginning of the semester. There is no option for the student to choose the subjects that he/her wants to select. There will be a total of 8 subjects every semester including both theory and practicals.

By the end of third year every student needs to do a 60day internship any of the industry of his/her choice based on their course. Scholarships will also be awarded to the students who excel in their academics and it It'll be in the form of fee waiver.

There are lot of companies coming for selecting students to their required jobs. L&T, INFOTECH ,MAHINDRA SATYAM and lot more came for placements. Apart from placements Christ university has it name for developing behavior and discipline in students which is very helpful for the present days survival.

There'll be number of cultural events going in the campus all over the year. MAGNOVITE is a CUFE technical and culty fest organised every year in the third week of February. It an national level fest and students from various states come and participate.

I actually don't know about the loan facility but apart from it Scholarships are given to people .Who excel in their academics and the one who come from low family background( income). Christ university supports these people.

Christ university faculty of engineering has students from all over the country and even some international students. Sports is also given a major preference. Workshops will also be conducted every year by respective departments for their students to get moved with the latest technologies and method involved in solving a problem.

Ragging is completely banned in campus ,so there'll be a very good relation between the seniors and juniors. Obviously senior s helps new students in their academics and and also in any activities if they wish to participate.

As I have mentioned above there will be 8 subjects every semester including both theory and practicals. So an overall of 64 subjects need to be completed for getting the graduate certificate. The marking scheme is CGPA. Odd semesters will start from June and gets over by 3 week of October. Even semester gets started from November and by March last week it'll get over.
