Course Curriculum Overview

5

It was not that good in the starting of our course but I feel jealous by looking at the curriculum provided to our juniors it is soo soo good that it gives a clear path to ace in one particular field where as we have a distributed curriculum which provides the overview on every field

Internships Opportunities

4

We have inhouse projects and clubs that provide you internship and halps to gain hands on experience on the real world projects. We also get few companies that offer summer internship to the students in their 3rd years

Placement Experience

5

Almost all the students who are sitting for placements gets placed without any doubt. Some students choose higher studies. People who don't get placed have assistance from the placements cell to get placed into the job

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees that I paid in my initial 2 years was 2L later in the last 2 years I am going to pay 2.3L. This fees includes all the fees including lab fees and many other fees. This is the only fees you pay to the college yearly. In the starting you would some 5000 for application that's the only extra fees that you pay for college. If you like choose honours or minors course you need payment extra money that is 15k per year. There is no fees variation as per category but fees varies when you belong to Karnataka. I am a CSE AIML student so I pay 2L, my friends in other branches pay 1.8L. You get a scholarship of 10k on the basis of merit.

Campus Life

5

When here the name Christ It reminds you about the events happening inside the campus. We have numerous clubs related to social services, environmental, sustainability and many other clubs. The overall experience of the college is very good

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel doesn't provide you food, you have to do biometric attandance twice in a day. After 8:30 they don't allow you outside of the hostel and after 9:30 they allow you inside without prior information to the hostel warden. To take its a very big process. They won't allow food inside the hostel which is frustrateing. The maintenance of the rooms and washroom are very good they keep cleaning everyday.

Admission

One thing that I checked in the starting is average package it is so good for Christ when compared to other colleges also the curriculum they follow is better than other colleges. With all these Christ is so affordable in terms of fees this one thing brought me into Christ

Faculty

4

The faculty members in the college are so engaging to the students except some teachers. You have more practical components that provides you hands on learning. The marking sceme has 3 internals including 2 CIA and on mid sem and one external that is end semester exam. If the subject is lab component lab is also considered for the marking scheme

Interview Experience

5

We had two phases in the admission process test and the interview. If we get passed in the exam will get a call for the interview. Interview again has two rounds that tests your confidence, communication and fundamentals

Night Life

3

Until 9 pm you have all the canteens are open, some events will be going on or practices for the events something or other will always be happening inside the campus. Outside the campus it is yet to be developed we have very less number of good and decent places to hangout with friends

Other Applied Colleges

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Comparatively Christ has less fees with the facilities provided and Christ is in the Bengaluru which is close to my home town

PES University - [PESU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

The fees in this college is so high than Christ with almost same facilities and infrastructure provided by the Christ

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
