Likes

I like the way they manage both extracurricular activities and studies
They provide a good placement training classes for all the years
It is 75 acres lush green campus . And can enjoy the nature

Dislikes

Attendance is very strict there. U need to have minimum of 75%

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams timing are pretty good. For mid sem you get 2 hrs for 50 marks and for end sem 3 hrs for 100 marks. Sometimes the subject doesn't make sense. It has with no practical knowledge. It made no sense.

Internships Opportunities

For 2 nd year internship we have to go search . They do provide few companies link to apply. They do have opportunities provided from various clubs for project that can be also consider for internship sometimes based on the task.

Placement Experience

They are placements. Last yr 60% of the students got placed. Some went for higher studies. They give a proper placement training which benefits the students. The highest package last time was 36 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year I paid 1.85 lakhs and 2nd yr I pad 1.8 lakhs and for third yr I paid 2.10 lakhs.if you are from Karnataka 10k will be reduced . There are merit scholarships from 2 nd yr. Registration fees is 5000 that will be included in the 1st yr fee

Campus Life

The overall ascepts of the campus are just amazing.there are lots of clubs to involve yourself in my activity. U can gain a lot of experience. The classrooms are decent and spacious. Overall the campus life is amazing

Admission

I applied for Vit ,karpagam SRM colleges. I choose this college because it's near to my home and the quality of education is good with experienced faculties. I choose Christ becoze of its holistic education and balanced life with few rules to maintain the decorm of the campus.

Faculty

The faculty are actually caring. Only few don't care about students they just come take class and go. Some faculties really teach good. They help you to make love with data structures and algorithms. Exams are easy only if study and analyse the topic and follow the teacher

From 6th semester we will get the placement assist .almost all mnc and top companies in india visits the college , namely cognizant ,oracle, tcs , infosys , capgemini , accenture , mu sigma , and many others along with startups . few companies offers direct fte roles, whereas few take students as interns and provide fte(full time employment).package will be between 3 to 36 lpa. rules during college placement drive are there will be 3 buckets , less than 7 lpa bucket 1 , 7-15 lpa bucket-2, above 15lpa bucket -3 , if a student gets any offer in specified bucket then he/she wont be eligible to apply for companies withe the salary range of that bucket. They provide international placement opportunities also , specially the zenken company collaboration , helps to get japan companies placement assist.

Placement Experience:

Generally I pefferd this college because of the college's reputation in placments . Students generally get placed into company's in 7th sem . Generally companies like TATA, IBM, Infosys, Amazon , Wistron, Accenture, Xoriant, Hp etc . generally 800 + students gets offers . Highest package is around 30+ Lpa and avearge package is 7 Lpa .MY plan is to try for both placements and also Gate examination

I got admission thourough 12th percentage which was a fairly flexible process in the college. Right after counselling, I was given the option of joining CHRIST even with its low cut-off rank.
