Likes
- Neat and clean campus. The campus is clean and is very beautiful. For students it is a beautiful environment once the enter the campus.
- There are many programs for students to engage. Students can participate in many programs. The college also give importance to sports.
- As a student from the mechanical department , our faculty are very nice to us. We can openly speak to them.
Dislikes
- Some rules in the college are not so nice. The college say that the minimum attendance percentage to keep is 85. But they also say that according to the gov it is 75.
- Students who are having attended percentage below 75 are detained and it is fair. But students who are having attendance below 85 are supposed to pay a fine.
- They always change the rules. I have also heard that some students have paid some amount illegally to avoid detention and some backlogs.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is actually good but I don't know how it will help us in the future. As an automobile student I was able to learn many basic things which I didn't know previously. Overall it's not bad. There are many unwanted subjects in our four years journey. To learn and pass these subjects are not so easy.
Internships Opportunities
The internship available in our college is very low in our department which is mechanical department. They had a collaboration with one company which provided internship. Other than that we students had find intership on our own.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from the 7th sem. In our department , automobile department, we had less placements compared to others departments like computer science. But some good companies like Daimler , Royal Enfield, Bosch etc visited our campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee in our college is a normal fee when compared to other private colleges. We have to pay some small amounts for things like placement training. And there is a scenario where we may fail in a subject due to low internal marks in that subject. And we have to pay 10k rs to overcome that which I think is a little high. There are no such campus employment or stipend.
Campus Life
The are many festival held in our college. Magnovite is the biggest festival where students from other colleges participate in many activities including sports. Other than that for us there are many programs. The facilities provided in the classrooms are good. Nothing special there. The college give importance in sports. They have a team in every sport. Football in one of the main team as the team have a coach and the selection process is decent enough. There are student run clubs in our college which is good.
Admission
Our 10th and 12th marks have a good role here. My 12th marks were average but there were less students in my section and hence I got admission easily. There is an entrance test and once after passing the test there will be an interview. After these they will check our eligibility. In some other sections where they had many applicants, it was a little tough.
Faculty
Teacher student interaction is actually nice in our department. I don't know about other departments. In our department that is mechanical department, the faculty is very nice . We can say anything to them and they are always ready to help us which as a student helped us a lot.
