IIIT Trichy Review

Infosys is the industrial partner of IIIT Trichy. I have cleared my JEE and I was allotted the seat during my JOSAA counseling I found that the college has good placement and the college flagship course is CSE B.Tech and I was eligible for the program I was also interested in the CSE program so I also decided to go for IIIT Trichy. IIIT Trichy is mentored by NIT Trichy which was a plus point for me as NIT Trichy is the no engineering college in the NIT family.

The college curriculum is up to date and is industrial friendly. The curriculum helps us to understand computer technology, operating system, and software programing very deeply. The curriculum helps us to develop our analytical and decision-making skills by using case studies and simulation activities for studies and teaching the concepts. The faculty of the college is also highly qualified and guest faulty from NIT also visit us for guest lectures which is really a very good learning experience for us. The faculty teaching methods are a blend of traditional and modern teaching styles.

The internship is a part of the curriculum so we were able to take part in internships after completing the three years of our program. We have to register our names with details so that we can take part in the internship program and the placement committee can help us to find the college for an internship.

The college has good standards for placement and the college has an impressive placement record of 95% why 95% because few of my classmates decided to opt for higher studies. The placement committee plays a very important role during the placement session as the committee is fully responsible for the placement and fully guides us during the placement rounds. The highest package for batch went up to 25 LPA and the average salary package was around 10 LPA.

There is no individual scholarship scheme program of the college but scholarship from state and central government is available. The college average fee of the course is around 9 lakh but the college provides good placement. Education loan facility is also available and during the education loan, the admission staff fully cooperates.

The campus life of the college is very good. Atrang is the literature festival of the college where famous personalities from different industries visit the campus and share their experience. The college also celebrates its Institute day every year at the end of even semester. The college library is also very good there are many national and international bestseller authors books available in the library. The college classrooms are good and properly ventilated.

The hostel of IIIT Trichy is good and the facilities are also good. The hostel rooms are on sharing basis and the rooms are equipped with study tables, almirahs and beds for every one of us. The hostel food is good and it is cooked in a very hygienic space. The hostel wardens and staff are very cooperative and professional. The hostel has 24 hours of water and power supply. The hostel has all types of facilities available for us.
