Remarks

All students who have passed higher secondary examination or equivalent with greater than 50 percentage in PCM subjects are eligible for admission. However the merit and management quota seats are available only if the student qualify the KEAM entrance examination. The merit quota admission processes are done by the CEE and is based on the KEAM rank of the students. The management quota seats are filled by the college management taking into consideration the merit of the students in their higher secondary examination. A student securing less than 25K in the KEAM entrance examination will easily get allotment in the college during the first round itself. For merit quota seats government reservation policies are applied but management quota seats are not provided any reservation benefits. The application form for the admission is available on the college website. Application process usually begins from June month.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science and engineering is the best course available in th college. This course provides ample of carrier opportunities. The course curriculum is designed such that it provides us good understanding about the course. There are enough faculties available in the college. All the faculties are very supportive and caring. All have their post-graduate and phDs from NITs and IITs. The teaching method os somewhat textbook oriented but the quality and method of teaching is very good. The series exams are conducted twice during a semester. There will be a time gap of two months between each exam . The question paper is moderate and is easy to pass. The end semester exams are conducted by the university at the end of each semester and the question paper is somewhat though. The college has an average pass percentage of 67%.

Internships Opportunities

Students are eligible for doing interships from the 3rd semester itself and most of the students gets an opportunity to do internship in one of the major companies. Roles offered by the companies is of assistant posts. Sometimes this interships are with stipend and some not. Mahor companies providing intership opportunities include Wipro, Infosys etc. This interships are a great opportunity for the students for getting permanent placement in top companies. College works in connection with many major companies for enabling internship opportunities to the students. This interships provides a lot of industrial knowledge to the students. Almost 90% students gets internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

The college provides a lot of placement opportunities to the students. Students become eligible for the placements from the 7th semester onwards and continue till the end of the 8th semester. Students are given placement training from the first semester itself. This helps them to face the interviews with confidence. Many major companies visit the campus for placement activities and offers many core jobs. Major companies providing placement opportunities include Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, UST Global etc. The average salary package offered is 4LPA with the highest package being 15LPA. CSE department secures more than 50% of the offers. On an average about 60% students gets placements in the campus interviews. Overall the placement activities in the campus are above average.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is similar to all other private engineering colleges in Kerala. The cost of study is approximately about 7lakhs. There will not be any fee hikes in the college because this are regulated by the government. The college offers different scholarship schemes based on the merit of the students. The college provides 100% fee waiver for meritorious students who secure 95% or more in the higher secondary examination or less than 10k rank in the KEAM entrance examination. The college also offers facilities for availing educational loans. There are other categories of scholarships also available where fee waiver is given to the students. There is no any stipend providing activities available in the college campus for b.tech students however M.tech students are offered such programs.

Campus Life

This is the first engineering college to secure A grade NAAC accreditation. The college conducts many events and festivals. The annual tech fest is conducted every year during the even semester. The college library is one of the best scientific library in Kerala with all the scientific journals required for B.tech students. The textbooks are also available online and are free to use for the students. The college promotes many extracurricular activities such as NSS,NCC etc. There are also a lot of sports available inth campus like cricket, football, volleyball etc. The college conduct the annual sports meet during the even semester. There are also a number of social clubs and groups functioning in the college like Nature club, Jesus Youth etc. The student chapters of IEEE and IEDC are also very active in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
