I've always been interested in research field that is why i chose the masters in science and that from chemistry subject which is a major research subject. As well DBS pg college dehradun provide a good laboratory facility for lab-course and labs work occur continuously throughout the weak . There are total 13 faculties and other side staffs in chemistry department for 21 Students in msc. Faculties are highly qualified almost all have done their PhD and have 10 years of experience in teaching, but not all the techers can be good right similar is the case here, some of the professors are really good and take classes regularly but some are very lazy , you have to prepare everything by yourself, they don't even provide proper content as per the syllabus. In masters two internals exams including lab, assignment and presentation and one external exam is held which is not easy to pass if you don't study regularly, as syllabus of post graduation is hard and humongous.

Msc chemistry fee is 1965 per year ,very convenient ,all student can afford this much, examination form fee per semester is 850 ,and there is not much charges for any other things. A national scholarship is provided to all the students who are eligible, the form can be filled from national scholarship portal and submitted to college for further varifications . And student can get a yearly scholarship which is enough to manage your course fee No jobs are offered by campus.

Many fests are organised by students leaders in the college as a student's union fest and freshers fest for all the new students. In which many activities are included and interest student can show their talent, as well music bands and singers are invited to those fest for entertaining the students. A small library is also there from which you can issue books for 15 days and many times, journals can also be issued and read in the reading room. Classrooms for msc student in chemistry department are not separated , all your classes held on labs. A big ground and a basketball group is also there, and sports events occurs continuously as well others activities like debates ,poster, magazine competitions, music activities are walo organised in the college . As far I don't know any club or website run by student for student.
