- Combined classes for mathematics for bsc and ba students.
- Some classrooms are quite old but the new buildings are good.
- Traffic jams are increasing in the surrounding roads.
Course Curriculum Overview
The subjects that were taught during the course included some highly useful topics like entrepreneurship and data analysis in detail. They have provided students with skills required for enhancing their employability.
Fees and Financial Aid
DBS pg College is a government college so the fee is very nominal. It was 1500/yr for 2 sem. Further there was an additional fees for examination every sem which costed around 750/sem. The examination fees hai seen a nominal rise since then. There are scholarship options also available.
Campus Life
Campus life here includes Sports like football cricket, volleyball, basketball, etc. Further the NCC and NSS programme are also available. Apart from that there are functions and seminars on regular basis
Admission
I opted for this because of the proximity to my place of residence . Further it has limited seats filled through merit system which brings a highly competitive environment. Further the students politics is relative less.
Faculty
Faculty members are highly qualified professionals who have been selected on the basis of competitive exams. The economics faculty is the main highlight of the college. Further Faculty of english and geography are also highly qualified.
Night Life
There is a gym available but the machines are in redundant condition. The cafeteria is there but the place looks claustrophobic. There are many places to hangout which include both economical and expensive options.
