I got into KJSIM via Nmat, had a score of 257. They have a CA (Case analysis) and PI process. Case analysis is nothing but a topic will be given to you and you have to put forth your thoughts on that. It's similar to gd, just that it's taken individually, so that there's no chaos. The placements are good if you are in the top 25% of your batch. Companies like Bajaj, HP, Brittania, ICICI, Salesforce, Infosys, JP Morgan, Accenture, ZS associates, Deloitte, KPMG etc. The college offers Umbrella placements which means all students are eligible for all companies. HCM is a new course started in 2020,but has good placements under the brand of KJ, as Health care IT is a growing sector nowadays. They have increased the fees to 18 lakhs now for 2 years. The Avg placements is 10 Lpa. Although people with experience can expect around 12-13 Lpa. College has hostel facilities. Campus is really good, especially if you are a sports enthusiast.

From next year there will be no specific courses like IMC (INTEGRATED MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS). There will be only one degree given by KJSIM which will be the PGDM degree. Sports Management and Health care management will continue to have their separate batches. DSA is going to be discontinued from next year. The teaching is done for 2.5 months, which is followed by exams preparation leave for a week and 10 days for exams to get over. The student faculty ratio is about 1:60. The exams are not that difficult if you have a basic idea of the subject. The teachers are considerate to some extent. The teachers are well qualified, most of them are PhDs and are having a good amount of experience in the field of teaching as well as in the industry.

Bajaj offered a role of Product Manager with a stipend of 30k. The tech companies like Accenture, Infosys offered the role of Analyst and a stipend in the range of 50-70k. Brittania offered a stipend of 75k. Lots of Finance companies visited the companies as well and gave a stipend of 75k.

All the students in KJ Somaiya do get placed. Like i have mentioned before many companies visit the campus and you will get ample of opportunities to get placed. Just make sure you have things to talk about during the interview. I want to either get into the FMCG sector or get into product management

For the 2021-23 the fees was same as the previous year, they did not increase it considering the financial burden the pandemic had put on people. But for the 2022-24 batch the fees will be increased to 18 LPA. Kj Somaiya does provide scholarship if they find you good enough and you have a substantial reason to for your need for scholarship. They do provide you with a Grammarly subscription for the whole course duration as well as Coursera subscription to up skill yourself. Lots of companies visit campus, so there's enough opportunities for you to get selected. There is no limit to the no of companies you can apply during placements.

The Annual cultural fest is called Melanged and it is conducted in the month of February. The physical library is well equipped, also they have a e library for non physical books. If you are a sports enthusiast, you will love the sports facilities on campus. There is a badminton court, the football ground, separate ground for rink football. The classrooms are also well equipped with the latest technologies. There are a lots of committees you can be a part of like there is a cultural committee, sports committee, Mauj for singers, Grooves for dancers etc.

The topics of gd were pretty basic. They give you time to prepare as well. Also Kj does not have GD, they have a round called case analysis, it's similar to gd but its just that it's an individual round with the panelists. Your CA and PI will happen on the same day. First will be CA then PI, and your selection will be on the basis of the combined score of the both. So you get a shot at both of them. There are lots of youtube channels you can prepare from for the GD pi process. I had bought the ca pi preparation course by C2C mentors, proved to be helpful for me at least.
