Getting admission in AKGEC can be through the UPSEE exam and JEE exam. On the basis of marks, you obtained in these entrance exams the college may provide you the specific branches which may include CSE, CS, IT, CSIT, EC, EN, CIVIL & MECHANICAL.

Doing engineering was always my first priority, from the starting of my school days I was determined and confident for doing engineering ( B-tech). When I got to know that I got selected by the AKGEC college through UPSEE exams that feeling was amazing. The faculty of our college is very good and understanding, the bond between faculty and students is appreciable. All the faculty of the AKGEC college is highly qualified most of the majority is Ph.D. and pass out from IIT. So we can highly trust them. Our college conducts exams in a certain periodic manner like we have our STS ( Sessionals ) in a gap of 2 months. We have our PUT ( Pre University Test ) and then finally UT ( University Test ).

Our college provides a vast variety of internship programs as well as projects, these all activities are done in our AKGEC SKILL LAB where highly modern machines and software are installed. These internships and projects are useful in our placements and make our skills enhance.

From 3rd year students from our college are eligible for sitting in the placement cell. The major companies which visit our college campus are AMAZON, INFOSYS, TCS, ACCENTURE, IBM, WIPRO, IBM, and many more. The highest package from our college was 44 lakhs per annum in AMAZON. There is 100% Placement from our college. I'm myself preparing for college placement.

The fees structure is different for different years like for the 1st year the fee is 141000 and for the rest of the three years the fees structure is keep on decreasing a bit. The college provides scholarships on the basis of students' backgrounds like on the basis of family income if it comes under 2 lakh per annum then you are eligible for the scholarship form. The placement from our college is very satisfying, the average placement of our college is 4.5 - 6 lakhs per annum. The college also provides various internship and project programs which are very helpful during our placements.

Our college conducts every year the fresher's Party for the upcoming new Batch, and various events were also organized by the college throughout the sessions in order to maintain an interesting environment for the students. All types of books are available to our College library and students can collect their book banks from the library. Our college highly takes care of the sports sector as our college wons several medals in the zonal and State Level as well. In our college, there are vast no. of societies which are run by our college students only under the guidance of senior students. For example - VERVE ( Fashion Society ), GOONJ ( Drama And Theatre ), ORJA ( Electrical ), Etc.
