Admissions are based on anna University counseling. I chose the computer science department. 189 as my cutoff. If your cutoff ranges between 180-190 you can easily get into the college. Application forms for College Management Quota are available on the college's official website.

I chose this course because I need to become a software developer. Staffs are really helpful. The way of teaching is quick to understand. Moreover, practical classes are organized thrice a week to improve our coding. Internals and model exams are conducted thrice in a semester.

A lot of companies offered internships during the 5th semester. Many companies visit our campus. Internships really made us improve our knowledge of practical working. Need to appreciate college in this. They have taken a lot of effort into this.

In our batch, 85% of students grab placement offers. I made around 3 offers. I selected the one which offers me a higher salary. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, etc will come for hiring. The package is between 3.5-10 LPA. From the 7th semester onwards you can start attending placements. I decided to pursue MBA through distance education by side doing a job.

Fees will be 1,10,000 per year. Scholarships will be awarded to top performing students in college based on academics in a college. Financial assistance will be provided to SC/ST candidates. I got placed through campus in my 7th semester.

REC is known for its events. They organize multiple events. A very big library is present in our college. Cultural and Social Awareness clubs are there. Classroom amenities are a virtual mode of teaching which helps us to get over a practical atmosphere. A lot of Coding competitions, Monthly competitions would happen in our college.
