What Students Say

Likes

Teachers will be very friendly and clears whatever doubts students have on time
Both boys and girls ratio are quiet equal in every classes
The college also provides effective placement drives and brings many companies to the campus

Dislikes

During culturals they charge more from the students
Attendance will be wrongly marked for many of the students
These are the main problems in the college

Course Curriculum Overview

Every subject we studied are clear and the teachers will take live classes with many practical sessions in laboratory if required and clear doubts on time and are very friendly to students. Coding subjects should be taught more practically if possible

Placement Experience

Rajalakshmi Engineering College is best for placements because it provides many placement opportunities to students along with more and more placement training and courses and tries very hard to place everyone in the campus

Fees and Financial Aid

Overall college fees for 4 years including donation is 10,00,000 . They will charge separately for culturals and many other activities. If students come through counselling the fees structure will differ according to their percentage in 12th.

Campus Life

Rajalakshmi Engineering College has many clubs and social activities with the campus. There are many clubs like rotract,etc. Students can join in whatever club they are interested in and it is not compulsory that a student should join club

Admission

My family suggested to join in Rajalakshmi Engineering College because it is one of the best College in Chennai that provides 100% placements to students and try hard to place every student on campus and conducts more placement training to students

Faculty

The faculties in Rajalakshmi Engineering College are very friendly and students will have 3 internal exams for one semester and students should pass in atleast 2 internal exams, then only they can pass in semester exam and students should compulsory have 75 percentage of attendance in every subject.

Night Life

Rajalakshmi Engineering College have very big hostels separately for boys and girls and there will be separate wardens for both the hostels. The food provided in the hostel will be average and students are allowed to library only with permission

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum behind or campus is very much updated and it is changing as the technology changes.As the present world is engaging with computer and artificial intelligence,I want to improve more knowledge and also want to compete with others.The time table and the devlopment technology followed by our university is devoloped so that only placement are recorded with high percentage when compared to other.The improvement should be observed only regarding labs.We have write examination for every 30 or 40 days , because there are 3 internal test ,semester and lab exams.Actually time is not sufficient but we have to do hardwork.when compared to other universities or colleges our exams arebwry hard.

I got seat at srm chennai but it was too long for me and it couldnt manage the travel because i should catch the bus at morning 6 am and i will return to home around 5 50pm. So nearly 12 hours. So rejected it and choose rec chennai because it is near to my location. I will catch the bus at 6 55 am and i will come to home at 4 15 pm. I wasnt applied to other clg so there is no rejection.Simple admission process just show ur orginal 12th certificate and cutoff marks.If your abive 80% cutoff u can pay minimum donation if doesnt enough for the course which u applied. Counselling is the better way to avoid donations and cutoffs may change for the caste....Read More
