Remarks

The college experience is best and good one. The college facility is great with providing their service to their students.

Entrance Preview

None. I was been passed out with great satisfication of faculty and the online examination portal which was not easy but was great with this new generation of technology.

Course Curriculum Overview

Via Online I meet faculty and have conversation with them. Also been working hard to assess course curriculum with online facilities. It was totally online to assess the course curriculum and Faculty of your college.

Internships Opportunities

SBI, HDFC, TCS, Infosys, Mind Tree, Suzlon and many more. Have a interview placed with top notches and have great feeling to have such a great success of having this fullfilment.

Placement Experience

More than 80% of students were placed SBI, HDFC, TCS, Infosys, Mind Tree, Suzlon and many more companies came to campus. They offer more than 3,00,000 p.a package to offer.

College Events

Online webinar and navratri and clubs membership and all. The technical and cultural festivals are the backbone of our campus where faculties are also participating into it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is cheap and best. I am feeling like no other colleges is providing this much cost effordable college fees for studies. It is my honour to see the structure of fees to be paid in my college.

Fees and Financial Aid

No such facility for loan. But on EMI Credit card they provide this facility. Also scholarship is been added on merit scored before educations.

Campus Life

As the college was distance for me so I was not been exactly known about this stuff. But may be they are been providing for regular students. Also it may be providing for distance education students.

Hostel Facilities

Rocking. It is good and nice. Average rentals need to be paid half yearly. The pg facility is not provided right now in other states. But in sikkim they are been providing the facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

No such experience with you college seniors or any interaction you have had with your alumni. As I was been senior and I was been begineer of this college as I was been pursuing for distance education.

Exam Structure

Exam labs are cooler than seen. It is great with all exams online and totally calculating students with a unique ip address so that no copy case can be taken into.

The placement of our college is pretty good for the b.tech students like this year they are getting average of 7 lacs per annum but in BCA course it is 3 lakh or 4 lakh per Adam but in MCA it is 6to7 lakhs

Bca in smit

Course Curriculum Overview:

-So in 12th I was not having maths and I want to learn the coding skills therefore I opt for Bca course - In BCA we study only coding related subjects and it's same like btech just the difference is the name of the course - the area is also good and wifi campus - In every 2-3 weeks you will have exams. In each semester you will have to appear for 2 written session exams(50 marks) and 2 quiz (5marks) and at last the main semester end exam. If I talk about the exam level it's easy only, all the syllabus is from the topic teacher has discussed in the classes and questions in previous years question paper.

Calming Life at SMIT

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester the students are eligible for campus placements opportunity. And the placement opportunity is above 95% . Various companies such as Dell, Infosys, Infotech, Wipro, Amazon, etc. come for placement and offer around 3.5 lakhs to 5 lakhs of packages to the students. The highest package offered for BCA students are 7 lakhs and average is 4.5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree is to get a join to get an experience and then pursue MBA or MCA.

Remarks:

The ambience in SMIT is so favourable for Quality studying. Located in the bank of Teesta river in Sikkim and free from noise, air pollution, This college gives numerous facilities to students like well equipped labs, high speed wifi, sports complex and many more. There are other facilities like atm, shopping stores inside the campus, multi cuisine food court and many more. The placements are also extremely wonderful.
