Remarks

The admission procedure is quite good and easy at this college. Admission for the new students is offline or online both depending on the students. I applied for the course of BA(Bachelor in arts) English honor. I was called for the interview and they conducted it online because I wasn't able to reach there on that day. I choose this course because I want to study English literature. The head of the department asked questions regarding my interest in literature and my habits and all my future plans. Then I was selected after the interview round. There are no reservation benefits for the students. The admission procedure of this college is better than other colleges. So there is no need for improvement in this procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course which I choose covers Indian English literature mostly consisting of plays and poems. The course curriculum is both chill and hectic. Sometimes we have subjects covering all the growth and development like literature theory, novels, communicative studies, and foreign business language. The exam structure is a medium-difficult level that can be finished in three hours or less. There are many more qualified and very helpful teachers. They teach and provide the course material and give us life lessons for our future too. All the faculty members also have master's degrees in their respective fields. They sort out problems by giving extra classes to the students for exams. We share a personal bond with every teacher. All the terms exam are held from time to time and it is not more difficult to pass the exams because of the good support of faculty members.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of this college is more reliable. My course consists of six semesters s and the per semester fee is approx 38000 and with 30% scholarship it is 17000 and the hostel fees per year are 65000 plus 10000 security and the mess fees for the hostel students is about 3500 per month. College is good but being private college the fees is in approx 3 lakhs for 3 years This college also offers scholarship to meritory students and who have excelled in academics. The percentage of the scholarship depends on the results of the boards. I availed a 20% scholarship because I scored 90 in English in my exams. There are many students who availed of 100% scholarship and you have to score 9 CGPA or above to maintain the scholarship. I didn't get any job on campus because I do not achieve a good score in exams.

Campus Life

4.5

There are varieties of extra curriculum activities like sports, dance, acting clubs, etc. There are also several dance groups, musical groups, drama clubs, nukkad natak, and also sports such as tennis, football, badminton, cricket. It also provided a well-designed gym and swimming pool for the students. Every sport, activity has a committee and a group that organizes it. There are also many cultural activities and societies which carry out programs on current topics. Many events are also provided in our colleges such as annual sports events or monthly fest also in which students show their skills and talents in various fields. There is a website called Sangathan also provided for the students for all information regarding the fests and college.

Hostel Facilities

4

This college also provided good and best hostel facilities. The hostel is fine and clean for us. Both AC and Non AC rooms are provided for students. They also provided laundry services. The rooms are also on a sharing basis in which 2 persons in one room. There are 4 rooms set which have common washroom and bathroom. They don't take any extra charges everything is included in 65000. There are also a few PG,s near the campus which are quite affordable like the sheygirls, princess hostel, etc. They charge around 12-14k monthly.

Other Applied Colleges

Saraswati college | BA

I didn't opt for this college because this college does not provide placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always enjoyed numerical and problem-solving questions. Also, I was very much interested in business planning and marketing. So I opted for this course I.e B.A(H) Economics. Teachers at Amity are professional and well qualified. Teachers are helpful but you have to cover most of the syllabus by yourself. Some teachers are very good in all aspects. Talking about the term exams, they are not easy to pass. You have to study hard.

Any of my siblings studied from this college which gave me a clear view of the environment of this college from the start. It was also very close to my home making it easier for me to commute daily. And as I always wanted to study in an all girls college, this seemed a better option. It had good faculty and infrastructure making it different from other colleges around.
