Remarks

Like any other college, Dyal Singh college has set the eligibility for admission. The first cutoff for admission in B.A. is 70% or more in 12th and the second cutoff is 60%. I fill out the application form online within the date of admission. And I easily got admission to Dyal Singh college in the first cutoff because my marks are more than 70% in the 12th standard. According to me, the process of admission is good for Dyal Singh College.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose this course because I formed the art side and I choose this course because this course has many opportunities for jobs. According to me the ratio of student and teacher. All the teachers/faculty are highly qualified and the teaching method is very good. After every week the teachers take a test of a student. The exam will conduct after every 6 months according to the semester system of the course. My semester system is better than the annual system because the whole syllabus is divided into two parts and It is easily to pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities

4

After getting a degree I got an opportunity for an internship in the company of BAJAJ FINANCE LTD. I was working in this company for 6 months an as intern. After getting this internship I got many chances for a job but I want to continue my study.

Placement Experience

4

Those students are passed in at least 4 semesters in their course getting an opportunity of placement in this college. Those students who are in the 3rd year of their college get high chances of placement. There are many companies that come to hire a student for employment. Those students having at least 50% of their course are eligible for placements in college.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I was in 3rd year of college there are many companies that come into the college. And one of the companies is BAJAJ FINANCE LTD. I get this opportunity and I go for an interview but I was rejected in the second round of interviews. But I was Ok because this is my first interview. I think this college is good for having jobs opportunities and also a scholarship should be given to the eligible students.

Campus Life

4

The student-run a social group on Facebook by the name of Dyal Singh College. And also the Facebook page is created by the students and all the events information is posted on that page. Some students also joined clubs. My experience in this college is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific Aspects That Influenced the Decision For students choosing a professional or certificate course, the curriculum usually becomes the deciding factor based on three key pillars: Job-Oriented Specific Skills: The primary influence is the curriculum's direct focus on market-based, job-ready skills (e.g., Python, Data Science, Digital Marketing tools). Unlike a traditional degree, the appeal is that every module must be immediately applicable to a job. Portfolio Development: Students are heavily influenced by modules that are project-based or require them to build a portfolio (like a website, a code repository, or a marketing plan). The curriculum must be designed to result in tangible work that can be shown to employers. Industry Certification Alignment: If the course prepares students for an external, recognized industry certificate (like CCNA, MCP, or Google/Meta certificates), the curriculum's strict adherence to that certification standard is a major influence. 2. Preparation for Real-World Applications The curriculum of a successful short-term course is designed to excel specifically in preparing students for real-world applications. Curriculum Improvements Mandatory Soft Skills Integration: While technical skills are a focus, the curriculum should mandate dedicated modules on non-technical, yet critical, job skills like: Professional Communication and Email Etiquette Team Collaboration and Project Management (Agile/Scrum basics) Interview Preparation and Mock Interviews Industry Feedback Loop: Establish a more frequent and formal system to update the curriculum based on current industry demands, possibly involving an advisory board of employers or recent alumni.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

I was influenced because I wanted to study more about how a person makes decisions, form perception and how a person's mind works . The curriculum prepares us for real world as we study about different aspects of psychology. The curriculum can be improved a little by adding a elective course in which we can get a little experience and arranging trips . The exams are not too difficult or too easy , just in perfect depth of the subject.
