the application fee was 1000rs, eligibility for BCA in gbu is compulsory PCM in 12th and 60% marks in mathematics compulsory. application form, application fees, and application dates are available on the official website.
Course Curriculum Overview
the chose BCA as I'm interested in coding and stuff. The faculty in gbu is really nice. teaching methods are both online and offline you can refer to the texts as well. term tests are moderately difficult. it's not that hard to pass.
Internships Opportunities
I certainly dont have the idea for an internship as of now, but few of my seniors have got internship opportunities. roles offered are not of high position stipend is barely anything. but it is a good opportunity to learn through internships.
Placement Experience
in the last semester students become eligible for campus placements, TCS is one of the companies that visited. average package was I think 2-3 lac per annum, percentage of students getting placed is I think 60-70%, my plans after getting the degree are to go for higher education.
Fees and Financial Aid
for the 2020-2023 batch of BCA fee is 25500 per semester but for the coming batches, it is 31000. scholarships are available for obc,sc and st of 50%. In general, as of now I dont think there is any scholarship from the university.
Campus Life
due to covid not we have not experienced much of the campus life. but we have heard that there is a lot of fest. the library is huge, it is a three-story library. classrooms have working projectors, good sitting arrangements. there is a lot of stadium, cricket, football, and even indoor stadium.
Hostel Facilities
gbu is a residential university, the hostel is compulsory. the room has a single bed, study table, almirah, chair, bulbs, etc. The mess is decent. the food provided is eatable. The mess menu is quite nice. it also has snacks which are no doubt good.
