Remarks

You have Biology as one subject in your 12th class, and you must have to good score in Biology and Chemistry. You will find on the college website, application fees are 200/- (for General), application date- after the 12th result, June 2019

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this because I want to study for competitive exams, in this field you have to study less than any other subjects. Faculty: students ratio is 1:30 The faculty's qualification is Ph.D. and their teaching method is impressive. In every 6 months, you to give term exams, and it is easy to pass except Molecular Biology, you to study on this subject.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is good, with no complaints about fees. There was no fees hike in our college in this pandemic situation. College provides scholarships I didn't get a scholarship due to incomplete verification from college. You have to be aware for notice.

Campus Life

3.5

Our college celebrated two fests, freshers fest an annual fest. There was no tech fest in our college. The annual fest was placed in December, freshers fest was placed in September. There were many books in our library. There was a student union in our college that helped us in any situation college-related.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've always found economics to be really interesting and thats why I choose to persue it. I wanted to dive deep into the actual concepts and workings of the economy and understand how the world works from an economist's point of view. Sadly the curriculam doesnt bridge the gap between theory and real life. It focuses heavily on textbook and not how the world works.

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

The Physical Chemistry faculties are the best I got, that influenced me to carry forward my research carrier in Physical Chemistry. The curriculum for the Physical and Inorganic chemistry are upto the mark and I felt improvement in teaching style and curriculum is required for Organic Chemistry part. The difficulty of Internal examination can be improved a bit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.
