Remarks

My overall college experience was awesome. It was a college with all required facilities provided. The culture of college was very joyful. Studies were not sole area where we grow but as well as person.

Entrance Preview

BITSAT-I appeared for the exam in 2008. I missed the exam cut-off by 3 marks. I was offered other engineering but I wanted to study only computer science engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course included only aptitude test, reasoning, English. The exam was lil tougher than AIEEE but not close to IIT level. The exam was organised online the experience was very helpful for other online exams.

Internships Opportunities

I got selected in Cognizant technology solutions company. Other offers were Wipro, infosys, tcs and few more. I preferred Cognizant over other companies, in terms of work and stability they offer to their employees.

Placement Experience

The best placement was offered to students in this college. The campus offered was best and it provided us opportunity. I must say uts a very gud college to go fir engineering.

College Events

1.5

The technical support by faculties was soo helpful and gave us new direction in studies. Thus is one of the college which gives help us grow every topic was discussed with frequent ppt and laboratory experiments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee was feasible and anyone could easily afford it. The fees structure needs to change as the fees is increasing with time which not everyone could afford.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college do provide good loan offers which any one could afford. The college provided scholarship offers to many which helped people to study without the tension of money and other facilities.

Campus Life

The best hostel facilities are provided though the food quality needs improvement. The festival celebration was awesome and very impressive. The atmosphere keeps everyone going together.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The hostel was gud the rooms were spacious but the food needs to change. The food needs changes. The quality is degrading day by day it needs lots of improvement.

Alumni/Alumna

I had experienced the college and all its facilities. I must say its one if the best college in MP the top facilities and the campus selection were so helpful to grow professionally.

Exam Structure

The exams were done in fair manner the exams were taken in peaceful and cooperative environment. The atmosphere even after exam was peaceful chilled.

Faculty

1.5

The faculties in my college was very cooperative and helpful. They use to discuss topics in details and dicuss all useful information for competitive exams.

Likes

I like infrastructure of the campus... infrastructure are very beautiful.
Library. I like library facilities college provide and we can take book from there.
Canteen not..much but I likes this average

Dislikes

Placement their is no placement or limit placement only 2-3LPA
Bus Facility their Very poor bus facilities
Labs their labs computer are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

Choosing a college is a major decision, and for many students OIST Bhopal, the choice often comes down to abalance between legacy, regional repution, and practical constraints. Students typically compare OIST with other top private colleges in Madhya Pradesh such as LNCT or VIT Bhopal. My rank falls in the 1.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh range, OIST becomes a primary choice. It offers the same RGPV degree as the government colleges but with a more structured trainig program for private placements. The admission process is centralized and follows the guidelines of the Directorate of Technicial Education(DTE), Madhya Pradesh. Qualifying exams: 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics(PCM). Minimum Marks:45% aggregate in 12th Accepted Exams:JEE Main is the primary and most preferred exam. Admissions are also possible based on 12th-grade merit during later rounds or through college level counselling(CLC) phase. While cutoffs fluctuate yearly on the basis of ranks students get their branch....Read More
