Although I didnot avail for reservation Benefits- a few of my friends had availed for the same and they did get some benefits during the admissions. The Admission process might seem lengthy and time-consuming but it is for the student's own good as the college collects all your details if in case needed in the future.
Course Curriculum Overview
During my SYJC I realized that I have a knack for Accounts, which motivated me to apply for this course. The faculty: The student Ratio isn't that great and is't that bad also, it is managable, if a student has any queries he/she can always approach the faculty incharge after lectures to get their doubts solved. The Faculty is Highly Qualified ranging from Multiple Degrees such as: CIMA, CA, CS, Doctorate, ACCA, and many more- the knowledge the professors have here is to die for. The Semester exams were on a Half Yearly basis and the Internal Exams were on a Quarterly Basis for which the teachers prepare the students very well and give out any help required.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fees might've been hiked recently due to the COVID scenario, but the fees are Worth the Study and the Knowledge that the student will gain. There are several scholarships available for this college and the college also has financing options such as loans etc. The college does have a placement cell that helps students secure a job after completion of their course.
Campus Life
The Annual Fest is known as Taarangan, which is considered to be one of the biggest fest all over Mumbai, it is a 3-day event where there are several games and competitions to take part in, and even every department has its own fest/event once a year which is related to the department's curriculum, which helps the students get a hands-on experience about the course. The Library has over 10000 books and also has a digital library for the students to access audiobooks and many more. The classrooms are well lit and have Air Conditioning, which is very helpful during summers in Mumbai- the benches are properly arranged so that the student can see the board clearly.
