I like the decorum of the college which is very much needed
Engagement in cultural programs, workshop, festivals all are performed in very positive way and everyone gets engaged in all this events
College always attends extra activities like sports,yoga, bhagwat geeta which are very much helpful for the students of thakur college

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike about the college is the college's canteen which is always full the area of canteen is very small it is not adjustable
The librery which is not uder silence sometimes
Some events are only for selected ones not everyone can participate in it

The teaching method of the college is the best teachers make everything possible when it comes to explanation While teaching the decorum of the class remains constant and everyone gets involved in the lecture

Fees and Financial Aid

The college which I study in has a proper schedule, everything is provided to us like study material, practicals, notes, guidelines etc. Everything is up to date. Notification and vacations regarding our careers are shared in the WhatsApp group which is very much useful to all of us studying in the Thakur college

Campus Life

The campus life of my college is a dream of many and I was also one of them but now for me it's a daily routine the campus of my college is huge and most of the activities we perform their. The college premises also provided clubs for ever faculty which is also a important part of college

Admission

It wasy dream to study in top college like thakur institute and my dream came true as I got admission in this college Thakur college is the best college in mumbai as it has all the facilities and benifits

Faculty

The exams in college are very secure as well as very much strict but 95% of students clear all the papers the corrections of the papers are also very much accurate All the faculties are good there,all the faculty members help students in any of the problem So the faculties are the best

Night Life

My college is at very right place every place like garden subway cinema mall food stall market everything is near my college Their is no issue of anything The area where my college is very much safe and secure in day and night as well

Well worth the journey!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

From 6 sem th students are eligible for campus placement, there were many companies which gave the placement in this college like eg infosys, biochroma, thakur polytechnic etcthe higesh package was about 11 lpa and average was about 5 lpa , about 80 percent students got the placements but my plan after getting the degree was to do masters

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's average or below average in term of real world experience curriculum there no such thing. Teaching is not bad there are big screen in class to teach from and blackboard. But most students don't know anything about the real world projects and techniques. Syllabus is controlled by mumbai University is too told and does not have any use in real world industries which need to be changed and most important since IT sector is something which advances and changes each year

Looks Good on Paper, Fails in Practice

Course Curriculum Overview:

I\n Chose this course in specific this college.Because first of all , it was afforrable as compared to others institutes.I can say that we weren't getting any experience which can prepare us for the real world experience like we were made to sit in workshops which was not at all connected to our curriculum.And then later on, when we said we don't want to attend it.We were given lame excuses like this will help you. And we will give you certificates for this.And later on , we were given nothing. Course needs a lot of improvement.I guess because they doesn't favor student feedbacks. The exam are typically in june and depends upon ycmou college dosent have any role to it and its not that difficult with basic knowledge you can score well.

In univeral college from sem 6 students become eligible for campus placements, Name of the companies offered in placement is TATA TCS, Infotech , and etc. Highest package from our college is 10 LPA and average is 3.2 lacs per annum. 20% percent of students successfully get placed in the companies from our placement team. After getting degree i will prefer to study more with MCA two years of course and side by side business & developing webs and applications as this is my passion and motive. i will prefer business Now i am interested in python programming language and JAVA after this React JS, Node JS and PL / SQL + MONGO DB for backend programming which has no user interactions.

TCSC is tremendous!

Admission was on 12th score as cut-off for Maharashtra board students was 78% and for other boards if from Maharashtra it was 84%. For OMS (Outside Maharashtra) it was 88%. So I was in that 84 % bracket and made it just by edge as mine was 86%. Nearly 300 seats and over 30k students compete for that....Read More

Internship along with studying

So my admission happened by filling the university form. I filled the university form and got admitted in the second round as per the cutoff because the cut off for BMM was 80%. So my admission happened through such cut off and when my name appeared in the list, there is an online form of the college, I had to fill that and by filling that my admission was done.
