Remarks

The admission process of this college is good according to me no such improvement is required. It is already well maintained and the admission is totally done on a merit basis, Hence eligible candidates can take admission in this college, The overall process is fine.

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams are taken in time, Due to covid situations, now a day's some exams are delayed, it's not college's fault. In normal situations, the exams are taken timely. The exams are difficult according to their course studies as the board suggests.

Many companies offered jobs under their internships from this college. The selection is based on department wise many opportunities are there to get jobs from this college, The companies are TCS, WIPRO and many more.

I have got a scholarship from the West Bengal government that is Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship, Many more scholarship scenes are available such as oasis , national scholarship etc . According to the board, the candidate can get only one scholarship.

The annual fest is conducted in special days in the month such as Netaji Birthday, swami Vivekananda birth day, The library offers many premium books and course books also which are very much necessary for course students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.
