NIT Manipur Review

I was allotted NIT Manipur after my CCMT counselling. Candidates must clear the GATE exam and must have a minimum of 55% in their graduation program related to the concerned stream. The college is popular for its CSE and engineering program. The college provides an international standards facility and most of the faculty of the college are of PhD level. The college is quite popular for its faculties.

The curriculum of the college is of international standard and according to the latest industrial norms. The curriculum is updated according to the changes in the industry to keep students up to date in their related fields. The curriculum covers topics like Computers and Information Technology, Semiconductor Devices and Circuits, Data Processing and File Organization, Operating Systems and Data Communications.

The college also provide internships during our internship program 25+ companies participated. The college placement cell is quite supportive. The stipend for an internship depends on the company and according to your internship term. If you are lucky enough you can receive pre-placement offers too like few of my friends got.

The college also provides good placement. Frankly speaking, I did not expect such a good placement record. The college committee is very helpful and supportive the members of the committee are well experienced and they guide students throughout the placement drive. during our batch around 40 companies visited our campus. Companies like Microsoft, Intuit, 314e, Infoedge, Click Labs, Publicis Sapient, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc visited the campus during the placement drive of the college. The highest package during our batch went up to 20 LPA and the average package was around 9 LPA. I also received a package of 16 LPA from Microsoft.

The college also provides scholarships for merit students. The scholarship is also available to underprivileged students. Scholarship programs for Sc/ST/PD students is available. The central and state government-funded scholarship programs are also available. Scholarships from international NGOs are also available. The campus life of the college is good. The seniors are cooperative and friendly. The canteen of the college is very hygenic and you can purchase food according to your choice. The college provides a good study environment. The college also conducts the workshop depending on the department you are from. Sports activity like basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis is also organised timely.

The hostel rooms are good and the rooms are shared by 3 students. The rooms are well maintained and very clean. The rooms are cleaned daily. the college also provides free High-speed WiFi connectivity. The food of the mess is good and healthy. The scenic view and the cool breeze from the hills freshen up your mood. The hostel is equipped with all basic facilities for students.

The faculties of the college are beyond words. Their contribution in moulding students into successful people is beyond words. The faculty of the college guide student like a mentor. Most of the faculty are from IIM and IIT their experience and industrial exposure is really beneficial for the student.
