Remarks

12th with Science and Mathematics with 60% overall. Vit's official website N/A The addmission process was like that of any other college so, can't think of any improvement as such. The possibility of online admission counseling cloud be one possible improvement but it has been added as an option from the year 2020.

Course Curriculum Overview

Interest in the department and personal inclination towards the automotive field. The faculty-student ratio varies from subject to subject but on average there is one faculty over every 45 students. All the faculty of the VIT Vellore are Ph.D. holders. The teaching methods are simple and effective.

Internships Opportunities

Vit provides internship opportunities to the students. Regular updates regarding the internship are given via mail. Microsoft, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Pedilite, Fidelity, Amway, and many other top companies provide an internship opportunities for students.

Placement Experience

7th semester is the time when the placement drive starts. The list of the two companies is there on the official website. More than 500 companies came for placement in the year 2020 despite the pandemic the placement drive of the college was quite successful.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is available on the official website and there are no as such hidden costs or charges as far as I know. VIT does provide scholarships to merit students at the time of entrance as well as based on their academic record every year.

Campus Life

VIT hosts two fests every year. Gravitas and Riviera. Gravitas is the technical fests organized in the Fall semester and the Cultural fest Riviera is in the winter semester every year. VIT has one of the best libraries in India. Almost all the sports and extracurricular activities and opportunities are available inside the campus. More than 150 clubs and teams both technical and cultural are there in VIT.

Hostel Facilities

We have 1,2,3,4,6 and 8 bedded rooms available in VIT. The hostel counseling is based on the academic result of the previous year of the students. The hostel mess is quite okay. Not so good not so bad. We have options to choose between veg, nonveg, and a special mess. The fees of the hostel depend on the type of room one is taking.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
