Remarks

To be eligible for any B.E degree u should have a score of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in the 12th board exam. The application form is available on the MU site or you can visit the college website there you will get each and every detail about fees and dates.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had a keen interest in electronics in addition to that I had a good knowledge of Coding so I opted for this course. The term Exams are held once every six months and are quite difficult to pass if you have not prepared well.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are some companies that give internship opportunities to students if they are eligible. Students can work on the new technologies in these companies and they can include this in their resume while applying for placements.

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for campus placements as they enter the final year. There are some MNCs who visit the college every year for placements. The highest package was around 20 LPA while the Lowest was 3.5 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year the fees are hiked by 5K approx. There are a lot of scholarships that can be applied by students for their benefit. There is EBC scholarship, minority scholarships etc. Financial assistance is also provided by the college trust.

Campus Life

The annual fest is held in the month of March every year. The fest is named ambrosia. There are a lot of technical and non-technical activities held in the fest in which students can participate and have fun.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules.
