Course Curriculum Overview

1. Intrest in engineering. 2. Faculty is 10:9 from the student. 3. All the faculty are PhD in a particular subject and teaching is also very different. 4. Exam and termwork are assessed the very time to time in academics.

Internships Opportunities

1. TCS and LTI, Capgemini offers programmers with different languages of coding and the same in an internship. 2. Projects as phishing detection using python and ML with real time solutions and health monitoring.

Placement Experience

1. From sem 6 the process starts from a placement point of view. 2. TCS, Wipro, LTI, Capgemini, Zeus learning, Infosys, neo soft, Hexaware etc and offers are from 3.5 to 5 CTC. 3. The highest offer is 5 CTC from LTI. 4.70 %placement is done. 5. After degree job for 1-2 years and masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. The fee structure is common and EMI options are available from the second year of academic. 2. Scholarships are ebc and minority as per your background. 3. Job is permanent from the campus recruitment and jobs are very good.

Campus Life

1. Ambrosia is an annual fest conducted from October to November. 2. All the books are available in the Library. 3. Classrooms are cleaned and has amenities of the projector. 4. College has sports teams of football and cricket and other sports are also conducted. 5. Social work as tree plantation, blood donation has taken place on campus.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
