Remarks

I have choosed Aligarh Muslim University, because it's a best Indian universities and course structure is very good and infrastructure is excellent, and practical knowledge and lab experience was excellent. One bad thing is that they don't have extra curricular activities and poor placement. Admission is through Departmental entrance test, ones you should qualify the exam, then you got selected. amucontrollerexam.com is the website for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

M.Sc. Polymer Science and Technology is the excellent course and it's a growing technology and daily application based goods manufacturing technology, Curriculum of the course is excellent and academic is very good and all proffers are very cooperative and they provide you world class knowledge and masters project is excellent to enhance your practical knowledge. Almost all Faculties are very good and they all are very cooperative for your academic career and R&D profession.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes I got the summer research internship in the CIPET:IPT Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. And University also provide the opportunity for every students for internship with stipend. My training program title was "Polymer material and it's characterization" i got a lot of knowledge and hands on experience skill about instruments and many more.

Placement Experience

Placement cell is good and almost all job seeker students got placement in reputed organization and industry, in the post graduation afer 3rd semester, students are eligible for placement interviews. Min. Package is _200000 P.A. and Max. Package is _400000 P.A. Uflex, Sakata, siegwork, Wipro etc. Currently I'm working as research chemist in Uflex Chemical Business, Noida and my planing is got the highest position and reputation and become vthe result oriented person. And I want also R&D professional.

Fee Structure And Facilities

_15000 is first year fees, and _10000 is second year fees, it's not too much, students can easily give the fees and it's also in installments. Students can apply for the state as well as centre government scholarship, and almost all students got scholarship every year.

Campus Life

Life is amazing in the campus, all facilities are available for every students, and social plugin for is excellent and you got a lot of opportunities for growing your career, and many clubs are available for every students for enjoyment and enhance your skill. Websites are on ami.ac.in

Hostel Facilities

Electricity, sharing room, reading room, common room for entertainment, meal quality was not bad, menu changed at every month. No separate registration is required for hostel, department provide the form for hostel accomodation.

Admission

Yes, I given the departmental entrance test for getting the admission in this course, it's not too much hard if you did the 2-3 months continues and dedicated study then you can qualify it easily. If your basic concepts are got then you can got admission easily.

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

Placement Experience:

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

The hospital is huge very and also carry massive patient load .
You can easily develop skill in hospital area due to huge numbers or patient that visit everyday.
They don't miss any classes each and every class will be taken by the teachers every day .

Dislikes

They don't have their college of nursing building.
The hostel is not so good ,food quality is worst .
There are so many restrictions in girls hostel they don't Allow to go home even .

The curriculum of college of nursing is well developed they used ppt and videos for better learning of students as well as they have their own skill labs where students can get new skills and able to reduced their fear .

Think before you opt for this college.

Likes

The infrastructure and greenery was really good. Play grounds, running track and a sports building. There were respective charges for availing any sports facility like gym, swimming etc.
College fest was average with the college inviting well known artists like Milind Gabba, Nikita Gandhi, Raftar etc.
Girls- boys ration is good but the quality of students and environment is below average.

Dislikes

None of the teachers were highly trained to teach subject matter. The administration was always finding ways to fine students may it be for attendance or any hostel related expenses.
Hostel food was real trash. After even complaining on a regular basis it was upto no good.
There were many restrictions for hostel students like for even going out we needed passes and had to call our parents, they don't provide leave if u want to go home during the session.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are been done but they force u to sit for non core companies. Like I was doing BCA and I had to sit for slaes, marketing and in field sales persons job interviews. Mass eecruiters like infosys and wipro also came which they take like 200 to 300 students.

First of all I would like to tell you about the staff of my college. The staff of my college is very polite.
The atmosphere of my college is very clean
My college also has the facility of extra classes and library.

Dislikes

It is better if the environment is clean as well as cool then I face a problem of trees.
And if there are more than one lecturer in the staff, it will be easier to have lecturers for one subject.

I decided to choose this course because I wanted to know deeply about the inner workings of plants or humans or this is my desire which can be fulfilled by taking this course.

Amazing college!

Admission:

To get admission, I had to first fill application form and then pay a small fee for applying to the college, then after submitting the marks scored in 10+2, students were called for a campus interview upon which the students were selected.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any). I applied for this college only. Highly affordable fee of course and hostel fee. Hostel provides us so many facilities in a very basic pay of 1500 per month including mess and other things. For m.ed we have to prepare for an entrance test. Forms of amu m.ed are generally out during january- march period. The paper is of 100 marks, only mcq, based on core papers of b.ed. the cutoff is around 55+ for general+external candidate and 40+ for internal. The admission process is smooth and easy.
