I&C Engineering is a branch of engineering that studies the measurement and control of process in a system. Process includes pressure, temperature, humidity, flow and speed. Graduate degree with B.Tech specialisation gets the advantages of the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Throughout the 4 semesters linear control theory, digital control systems etc are taught with laboratory work. Microwave Circuit, remote sensing and control, robotics etc are also included. 4th semester is only dealt with project work. Faculty have overall control on the course.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 162000 per year

Placement Experience

In 2021-2022, 81% students get placement with the highest CTC of Rs 33 LPA. The highest stipend in this session is Rs 75,000. Average package raised upto Rs 6 LPA. Companies like Cognizant, Deloitte are in the top recruiters list.

Fees and Financial Aid

Government of Maharashtra gives financial help as Adivasi Bikas Prokalpo for the SC/ST students. There is financial help for handicapped students. Maharashtra social welfare committee, directorate of technical education, Pune Corporation etc offer Gunvan Vidyarthi Arthik Sahayya Yozana, PMC Scholarship, EBC Concession etc.

Campus Life

Clubs of the college is students driven. Facilities like labs, classroom, library etc are very good. Campus is ragging free and has fresh atmosphere. Students get attraction for the easy going teaching methods of the faculty.

placements here are eligible from the 6th sem . companies like tcs , infosys , capgemini , tech mahindra , infocepts etc visit the campus offering multiple roles .the highest package is around 12LPA while average ranges between 3 to 4 LPA . My plan is to prepare for campus placement drive

Beyond the Classroom: Life at IISER PUNE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses which are offered are very up to date and give and actual conceptual understanding of the topics the courses are such that it is relevant to the real world applicantions and program our mind in thinking in a research and analytical perspective. I think the current course curriculum is enough and really good no need to improve further. Frequency of exams are 2 months Midsems and endsems and quizzes in Between then.

Reality of VIT, Pune

I had applied for COEP technological University, PCCOE Pimpri, and VJTI. I got confirmed addmissions in PCCOE for mechanical course , COEP for metallurgy and VJTI for textile industry. At the last, I took addmission in VIT mechanical. VIT, Pune has good nirf rankings and rather than opting for branches like metallurgy and textile industry I choose mechanical. And between pccoe and vit I choose Vit. Vit accepts admission through cet and jee mains. Also dor dsy students it accpets through cet exam. Cutoff changes every year has been increasing as number of participants has increased. Overall, after the allotment of the college it took 3 hours to take addmission.
