Okay, I've applied for 2-3 colleges(IEM Kolkata, Heritage Institute of Technology kolkata, Techno India Main Saltlake) alongwith HIT Haldia. But I choose this college because of mainly two reasons- 1)This is near my hometown. 6-7 km away from my house 2)My some school seniors are also studied here so they said me to take admission here Yes I've got rejection from many colleges also because my WBJEE and JEE main ranks are not so good. But I was selected to take admission i some colleges also but I didn't make that because of expensive fee structure and poor placements. Admission process of my college is not that much complicated for Regular admission like through WBJEE and JEE Mains. But for Direct admission(management quota) you may encounter some difficulties....Read More

Before this college I have applied for some new age college and I also got selected in NEXTWAVE INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY jaipur campus for due to some condition I couldn't get in to that college which are 1.high fees 2. I have got some government colleges but the placements were worse in those and this college has a huge number placements you know.. for addmission in this college 80 percent are from WBJEE 10 percent from JEE mains and 10 percent from management Quota. The addmission process is quite smooth just fill addmission form they will verify then pay the semester fee and your addmission is done ? verification step is most important there during addmission. The college asks for atleast 50 percent in 12th in PCM....Read More

I choose because in my wbjee rank this college was in top and it is also a first and oldest college in west bengal and i hear about its placement condition are good from other colleges.i think in this college some times companies are coming in less amount....Read More

Ofcourse,I have applied for better colleges than the HIT , but I got this college which is also not bad , but it is situated in haldia which is a side area , which is undeveloped that much. For applying in any colleges you have to comes under the cutoffs , and accordingly that you get the college but you have money to pay then you can choose the college by your choices and take admission through direct admission cotta. But don't comes unde influence of dealer as they scammed you in most of the cases. My admission experience is okay...Read More

I applied for engineering in Information technology in Haldia Institute of technology and Heritage Institute of technology, I couldn't clear the cutoff for the course in Heritage but cleared the cutoff for Haldia so I took admission here. Haldia Institute of technology gives admission to students based on their scores in WBJEE and JEE mains examinations. Having a rank above 20000 in WBJEE is generally enough to get admission in branches like IT and CSE with specialization but under 8000 rank is needed for CSE main branch....Read More
