Remarks

It has good faculty and good job opportunities for UG students and it has less opportunities for PG students. Student can enjoy the fests Raaga and Thathva. The admission was late as there was lockdown in the Country. The website of the college is www.nitc.ac.in which showcases the different features of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have shown my intrest in the course as I was good at geotechnical things in my under graduate course which paved a path to select the course. All the faculty have Doctorate and Ph.d. they teach us well. There are two term. exams for each sem and they are moderate level to pass.

Placement Experience

4

For UG one can go to placements from 8th semester and for PG they can go from 4th semester of their courses. The job opportunities are fair enough for UG students and little less for PG students. If one is not selected in placements they can go for higher studies or prepare for various competitive exams.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure varies for semester to semester. One can avail the community scholarship from the Government. We are in the final year need to apply for jobs. The financial assistance we get is through the central government which is useful for the needs.

Raaga and Thathva are the fests conducted by the institute to develop students in various fields of their intrest. There are plenty of books and journals in the library. We can play any game in the campus. We have both indoor and outdoor courts where a student can exhibit his skills. There are various clubs in the institute.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.
