Remarks
The Eligibility For Bsc Agriculture in KNIPSS is, you must have completed intermediate with Agriculture, PCM, or PCB stream with atleast 40% in 12th. There is a separate counter for Bsc. Agriculture students on the main campus (as classes run in the other campus) from where anyone can get admission form easily. Application form fees is Rs.500, and the admission dates are decided from the affiliating University that is Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya. The university opens a date for the online registration of UIN(unique identification number) which decides the intake of admission in the college. There is no such limited seats in the college. The improvement which can be done is that there should be proper entrance examination of the college and the seats for any course must be limited. Like in my course there are over 450+ students in 1st Semester.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Bsc. Agriculture because I had an interest in rural and agricultural India also I want to set up a business regarding the same. So there are over 450+ students here. And in the 1st semester there are 12 subjects. And yes we have dedicated teacher for every subject but still there is a huge teacher student ratio like one teacher takes on around 150+ students. There are 3 section divided. And few teachers like english, Librarian hardly takes their class. All teachers here hold a PhD Degree but except 1 or 2 teacher no one teaches in English. Not even English teachers here speaks English properly. And Quality of teaching is not very good here. If teachers would study a topic and teach it to us...it would be very feasible for the students. But I think no teacher here in Agriculture is there to help any student. No mid term exams were held in 2021 for bsc Ag and I think direct semester would occur. There are class test but ofcourse of no use.90% students here are of Hindi medium
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is very affordable here like Rs 17605 per semester and honestly it is good for the students who are studying from the rural areas and want to study in a city. Apart from the fees there are other cost like examination form (approx. 1100rs per sem) and hostel if you opt(rs 25000 including mess for 6 months) and apart form that cost of copies, file, projects etc. Are on need to need basis. Scholarship which everyone applies for is the UP government scholarship and no other scholarship is given here by the college or the University. No financial assistance provided here. No placements for Bsc Agriculture, No internship provided here. It's all only on the brouchers and nothing else.
Campus Life
No Annual Fests, no freshers, no fest are organised here in KNIPSS Bsc Agriculture in Other campus. Books are very much available in library and librarian issues a Library card for Rs 5/- only. 2 books can be issued at a time in the library and there is a dedicated Library for every faculty. Class size is normal and can fit upto 150 student. No digital classroom is there in the classes. Only fans are there. Only 1or2 event harldy in an year is organised and that too of specific sport. College has a good cricket ground but of no use. No clubs, social groups, or website are run by students here. Campus Life is totally boring and also the canteen here is not soo good. We get only samosa and chola samosa. And nothing else except that.
