The institute provides a great opportunity for PGDM aspirants to specialize in one of the 4 domains- HR, Marketing, Operations &Finance. A score of 65% or above is required to be secured in the MBA national exams (CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT). The institute has students coming from different regions of the country, providing students with a rich experience of cultural diversity. Being a residential college, it has well-furnished hostel facilities for both men and women, helping students to continue with their curriculum in a safe and secured environment. XIME, Kochi has a student-driven placement cell that facilitates the placement process for the students with having companies like - Infosys, WIPRO, Accenture, Dell, PWC, Daimler, Oracle Etc.; along with Placements, the students are offered summer internship programs and live projects in various corporates like- Amazon etc. It's a great place to explore future opportunities and grow oneself for the dynamic corporate world waiting ahead of us.

XIME, Kochi helps students with prime internships and live projects. It also provides Summer Internship Program in companies like- Amazon, EY, Shriram life insurance, RBI, etc., helping students to gain knowledge on both practical and theoretical aspects and be industry-ready for future endeavors. It also provides students with industry exposure through industrial visits and other projects through KSUM.

Placement Experience

The institute has centralized placements with its other two campuses - Bangalore & Chennai. The college has a student-driven placement committee for facilitating the placement process with companies like- Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Dell, Oracle, WIPRO, EY, PWC. By the end of Jan '22, we have had 85% of students placed with an average CTC of 7.5 Lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the courses offered are quite reasonable. It also provides scholarship opportunities for students with merit & means. It also helps students with student exchange programs with institutes of France -Audencia. The college was considerate enough to reduce certain fee percentages owing to covid.

Campus Life

The campus life at XIME, Kochi is amazing, with students coming from various sectors of the country, which helps students to experience the rich diversity of India. It also has various domain clubs that help in engaging students in various co-curricular activities. The classes are well equipped with a digital system. The institute also focuses on the overall development of the student, has good sports facilities, Gym,etc. The Library is well advanced.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities come with a canteen allowing students with 3- course meals along with snacks facilities, the menu is decided to keep in mind the cultural diversity and also allowing students to experience the rich taste of Kerala cuisine.

Is XIME kochi worth joining to pursue PGDM?

Placement Experience:

Good Placement actually depends upon the students only. The crowd inside the college should be highly capable and enthusiastic for learning. The problem at XIME is not the placement but the crowd and quality of students. The college have proper placements process. Centralized placements across the three campuses are followed. Although students need to pass certain criteria to sit in the placements such as maintaining a particular GPA.

Great College with Best ROI

Placement Experience:

From the 5th Semester onwards, i.e. in November the placement process starts. The eligibility criteria for placements is to get at least 4.8 CGPA out of 8 CGPA. Approximately 60 or more companies have visited our campus until now and more than 85% of people have been placed. (As of 3rd February 2022) The highest package until now is around 14 Lakh per annum and the average package per company is around 8 Lakh per annum. (As of 3rd February, 2022) We have a target of 100% placements until April 2022. I have already been placed, so, my plan is to do well in the job I got into, and I'm very happy about it.

DCSMAT main are there clubs and activities the main function they conduct is luminance which improves the students to showcase their talent in front of all the people. Negatives are the climate in Vagamon is very cold and rainy.

Is XIME kochi worth joining to pursue PGDM?

Getting into a top b school is a dream for many but due to tremendously increasing competition only few are able to achieve it. Despite of working so hard for the CAT and other entrance exams i struggled a lot to get into a good b school. XIME was also in my list as XIME has successfully established itself as a good brand and known for good placements. Based on my CMAT score i got waitlisted here and i was so afraid because there were not many options left for me. But finally just four days before the inauguration i got the offer letter and now it's been half a year since i am in XIME kochi. The opportunities here are endless. Apart from competitive peers, Harvard case studies, and industry exposure, you'll get to participate in lot of outside events, competitions and management fests. XIME through its curriculum and great faculty support bring a great learning and transformative environment. XIME has three branches, the main one is in Bangalore, and others are in Kochi and Chennai. The same curriculum is followed across the three campuses. A home away from home where diversity is not just a word.

The admission process was a three-step procedure. You need to take one entrance exam either CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT and get a score of at least 75 percent to fill out the XIME form. Once you fill out the form which you can find on the website of XIME Kochi you will be asked to attend GD and PI which was held online for us. If you can clear the GDPI, you will get a provisional admission mail that will give you the details about what to do next. There are no reservation benefits you will get in the whole procedure. An honest review about XIME-Kochi.

The admission process in this college was very smooth. There was no cutoff considered for my batch for any MBA entrance exam of year 2022. Application form can be found on the college website they also have a rigorous mailing system so if you mail you will receive it at the earliest. There is no reservation provided in the college. They award you scholarships on the academic performance but no reservation in specific. The admission process is smooth. They respond to mails and calls if you have any. You can find the eligibility information for the course on the website www.xime.org. As it changes every year. Application forms can get it from the official website of XIME. There are no reservation benefits as such. Only select students on the bases of their merit.
