Remarks

CMRIT is a big name among Engineering colleges of Bangalore and with the IT industry-oriented environment its name was a prominent one under VTU affiliated colleges. The recognition of CMRIT also includes an Impressive NAAC score, AICTE approval, and many others. B.E & MBA both are famous programs of our college, while being an Engineering aspirant it was necessary to have a valid score in any relevant entrance score and I had that in the JEE Main exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

For anyone wishing to go into the growing technology sectors, Engineering is a cool option and especially in India. The reason for choosing ECE for my B.E was the kind of impact it has in every kind of industry making it the most opted branch of the program. Our institute had a total of 240 ECE seats & I was one of those students. The faculty team in CMRIT was filled with highly qualified professionals from highly popular firms. The institute helped me very well to build a strong foundation in my industrial career.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Expenses were a little too high at CMRIT for B.E courses as an annual fee of INR 2.5 Lacs throughout the 4 years takes the total program fee to INR 11 Lacs. That's why I had to face some financial hardships also while paying the fee. But I think some students matching specific criteria get to have fee concessions.

Campus Life

Our campus activities were the most talked-about facility of CMRIT because it had a lot of varieties in it. Activities related to Art, Theatre, Music, Photography, Dance, Coding, and technology were there to name a few. The cultural fest included various competitions in it with a large number of students participating in them. I was very enthusiastic about Coding and that's why it was a pleasure for me to be a part of CMRIT's coding Club. Just like it, all disciplines had separate club's and communities for their respective fields

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
