For doing master's in economics your minimum criteria are graduation with economics from any College. The second thing I want to talk about is form fill-up details, I had filled the form for Post-graduation on economics on their official website in 2020. The application fees were 100 rs And the admission fees were 2060 rs. The third thing I would like to talk about is reservation benefits, for ST, SC and OBC there are many benefits like seat reservation and scholarship facilities through university available here. There are 2 types of scholarships like Vivekananda, Oasis that are provided by the university. Computer facilities are too much poor, and I think it needs to improve more.

If I talk about courses Bengali, history, English, geography, political science, sociology, anthropology, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, mathematics, and many more courses are available here. As I want to be an official of the Indian economic service and I had made my mind to prepare for UPSC from my school days, I had chosen economics From my college days. If I talk about faculties, they are very much helpful and polite in manner. They are well experienced. many so-called faculties are there like "Subhashis Bhattacharya" sir. In a word, I can say they're the sea of knowledge. There are 2 semesters in a year and so Many internals and assignments are there. It's neither easy nor tough to pass in semesters.

Many paid and non-paid internship facilities are available for students provided by the university. Many so-called companies like TCS, WIPRO, TATA, RELIANCE are comes here. Every year a huge amount of students avail these facilities.

There is everything available that a Student wants. Campus facilities are well good. The topmost companies of States come here for placement. Candidates are selected on basis of walk-in interviews. Many students become successful who had studied there. University conducts many national and international seminars.

The fees structure is very much lower than other universities. And scholarship facilities are available for a maximum number of students like Vivekananda and Oasis. If anyone wants to study there they have to pay 2000rs maximum for a semester. As it's a government institute, internship facilities are there. MBA students get internships easily.

There are World-class facilities for the students who desire to study there. There are library facilities, lift facilities, disability access entrance facilities, separate bathroom facilities, online Web library systems, parking areas, emergency Power supply facilities, Gym, and many more facilities are there. The second thing is the campus, it's very neat and clean, the environment of this campus is too much attractive. Psychology councelling facility center, student health home facilities, And many more are available there. Maternity facilities for married girls are available there.

As it's a very well-known university, hostels facilities for girls. The meal quality is so much good. But nowadays for COVID issues canteen facilities are half-closed. Girls who want to opt for hostel facilities, have to apply online by our university website. Besides this, for boys outside room facilities are available nearby, they can charge 2000 rs per month.

There are no tests, interviews, or group discussions for admission. Applicants are selected in the merit list on their previous mark sheet and reservation system basis. For Home university students there is a system to prefer them first by merit list.
