Remarks
The admission is done under JAC Delhi Counselling on the basis of JEE Mains Ranks. The admission process starts from july and it ends in august. The admission process is completely online and all the details related to admission are available on the website only. The only improvement i would like to see in the admission process is that there should a student support group.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose computer engineering because I love coding. The teachers in computer engineering are very good and they teach the subject very well. Teachers also assist us with research work. The teachers are very well qualified and all of them have Ph.Ds and many publications in their subject. The exams are conducted timely two times in one semester as mid-semester and end semester.
Internships Opportunities
The same companies that come for placements come for an internship as well. The stipend of all the internships was very well paid. Companies play very well to students in DTU. The internship test majorly comprises DSA in tech branches. We can all so make good projects with the help of our teachers or seniors. They guide us throughout the project and help us in preparing a strong resume.
Placement Experience
The campus placement from the college are very good. The placement season starts in July or August start. The highest package offered is 1CR. The majority of the students get placed by the end of the year. Around 90% of students get placed. The average placement is around 15, lakh per annum. All the major companies like Uber, cure fit, Goldman comes here.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of DTU are lower than of IIIT-Delhi. The total annual fee is around 2 lakh and it is incremented annually. The college also provides assistance to students who are not able to pay their fees by waiving their fees by 100%, 50%, 30%, 10% depending on their economical conditions. We can also get a job on campus that are well paid.
Campus Life
The college life here is exceptional. There are numerous fests going all year round. The tech fest INNOVA of college is very good. It has many events like hackathons, essay writing competitions, CAD craft competitions, etc. The classrooms are very well designed according to students' strengths. There are many extracurricular activities going on as well in which we can take part which are run many societies, cultural council or the college itself.
