Remarks

The admission process was smooth since I didn't give any entrance exam and my qualification criteria were a diploma. The admission process was well managed and smooth. Dates were informed from the portal and students were called with their documents. The admission form could be collected at the college fees counter and the fees were Rs. 1000/- Reservation benefits are availed on the fees. The admission process could be made smoother by the introduction of time slots.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Mechanical Engineering because I was always interested in the physics behind moving components i.e machines. The faculty provided is well qualified and specialized in their respective domains. Modernized teaching methods are used not to forget in the industry-oriented education faculty to student ratio is about 2:70. Terms exams happen twice a semester and the difficulty level is medium since most of the portion is taught before the tests.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are provided by the institute. Students become eligible for placement from semester 6 onwards. Companies such as L&T, TCS, Godrej, siemens visit the campus every year for campus interviews. The profiles vary depending upon the core and IT specialties. The percentage of Students getting placed every year is around 60% while 40% go for higher studies. My plan is to opt for the placement after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are well structured based on the categories, scholarship assistance is provided under the government schemes. There are no opportunities for campus jobs although there are placement opportunities when passing.

Campus Life

The campus is lively with lush green trees and refreshing winds blowing. There are various Annual fests are conducted by different student committees in the even and odd semesters. The football turf is one of the finest turfs in Navi Mumbai, along with a basketball court and joggers park. There are various modern teaching aids such as projectors in classrooms. Overall the social life of the campus life is a delight and is very much joyful.

Most of students get placed in the company where they worked as intern. Which is PPO(pre placement offer). Highest package for this year is 1.5 crore .

The Overall experience of an average student

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of the college is as same as any other colleges. College does follow traditional approach but college does conduct various programs like AICTE idea lab course in curriculum. Teaching method in college needs to evolve and college needs to encourage the coding and development culture. And as for exam, for every subject exam iseasy to moderate level but for selective subject (depends on faculty) exam level is difficult.

Bookworms are welcome, engineers are not

The eligibility was cet and jee marks based only. The last round cutoff for this college in mechanical was around 80%ile in mhtcet. But it was higher than 95%ile in comps for general. The admission process was easy just bring a cheque and fill up few forms and give documents and done. I had choosen many other colleges over this i even got accepted in mit wpu and talen admission but i am a local mumbai person and i woshed to stay here so i gave up that admission. I also didnt get admission in the crce bandra due to only a small difference in the cutoff. And i had no idea about the ACAP rounds. I understood about acap and tried taking admission in vesit chembur in robotics but idk i changed my mind and stayed in fcrit because i thought i dont like coding at all and thus staying in core mechanical would help me sustain my engineering life....Read More
