The media cell of the college actively participates in helping and resolving each and every query during the process and mentors are also allocated for further process. For reserved students, the application fee is less as compared to general ones. The further comes shortlisting on a CAT basis and then PI schedule. Extra points are given to the girl candidates.
Course Curriculum Overview
Management is the most difficult and demanding job in the current scenario and my interest in marketing made me opt for this course. The Faculty in FMS is very supportive and cooperates with each student. Their teaching method includes showing practical videos for each concept, conducting group discussions and presentations for more understanding, and giving practical use of each theoretical concept. The examination system is semester-wise and exams are not much difficult if one has focussed on the lecture and the marking scheme is quite open.
Internships Opportunities
Internship preparation start from the very first day of college. There are live projects floated too for the 1st year students which they can pursue along with academics and internships are generally after the end of 1 year with full-time work. Various domains include marketing, finance, investment banking, consulting, operations, sales, etc.
Placement Experience
Talking about summer internships, it was 100% with all students getting placed. The highest stipend stood for 5 lakh for 2 months and the average stipend was 2.62 lakh with around 250 students participating in the process. The top recruiters in terms of the number of offers included Accenture strategy, Amazon, Bain & Company, BCG, E&Y, KPMG, Microsoft, DE Shaw, HUL, etc. 40% of the students get PPO during their internship tenure resulting in 60% students sitting for final placements and average CTC offered is 25 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
This is the best top B school with ROI purpose as well where the annual fee with all other extra expenses is 1.5 lakh which is much much lower as compared to other top B schools. Apart from this, there is no fee for PWD students and various scholarship schemes like the ABG scheme are available whose forms are given by the college itself. There is the opportunity of summer internship for 1st-year students and live projects too, the highest stipend of which was 5 lakh for 2 months this year. I got interned at Pidilite with a 3 lakh stipend.
Campus Life
Being a government university, it lacks a lavish campus as other top B schools have and the hostel is allotted to very few students since it is common for Delhi university. Students usually stay in flats in nearby areas and thus making their college life fun and full of new experiences. being located in Delhi, there a re a lot of fun activities to do for the students. There is a big library at the college campus and fun activities include celebrating various occasions, the great section war, sports war, batch party, and cultural activities.
Interview Experience
There is no GD as of now for the admission process. personal Interview consists of discussion on SOP, personal academic details, work experience, and an extempore is there. The shortlisted students are allocated their PI slots and then the final score is measured giving seats to the selected students and keeping others waiting with their proper waiting list and list moves to a very great number. Preparation includes complete deep knowledge of the application form and especially internships and work ex.
