Remarks

The process was quite simple, first of all, i had given JEE Mains exam that is the key thing required to take admission in the college. And in that exam, you need to secure below 1 lakh 80 thousand ranks to clear the cutoff. You need to register and fill the application form on the IP University website for a particular academic year. Once you have obtained the result of your exam you need to register on IP University website for counseling. In counseling, you have to fill college choices and wait for the result of the counseling. Once you have got to the college, click on the freeze seat button and wait for the college notice to visit for document verification And payment of fees.

The course I'm pursuing is Btech in information and technology. It is a 4 years duration course and the maximum number of faculty members are Ph.D. graduates. In each semester faculty member changes, the subjects but all of them are good with behavior and teaching. The term exams were on time and moderately easy.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 118000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college doesn't usually offer on-campus internship drives. The students have to find the internship on their own, on the basis of their skills and complete the internship as an assignment in the 3rd of the 4-year BTech program

Placement Experience

Placement is average here. Around 70% of students get placed each year. Many companies like Infosys, Adobe, etc. visit the campus for placement drives and college also supports the students getting more than one job offer.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the 1st year is 1,18,800. And it increases by 5K as we pass each year. And there are no. of ways to avail the scholarship. The two major ways are Merit cum assistance that can be availed at District website portal and the second one is managed by IP University itself. For this scholarship, you need to fill and submit the form to the college and after some time they call the applied students to Dwarka. So overall cost is good for Btech degree.

Campus Life

The campus life and college infrastructure are pretty good and clean. It is a no-ragging campus And there are a lot of societies and clubs in the college that you can join according to your interests. From singing, dancing to photography and editing a lot of clubs and societies are there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Walking you through ADGIPS

I applied to IPU counselling through JEE mains. I didn't have many options but I was getting HMR university, Echleon institute of technology, Guru teg Bahadur 4th centenary college, etc. I chose this college because among other IP colleges it has a better placement ratio and good environment and crowd. I wanted colleges like Maharaja agrasen institute of technology, maharaja surajmal institute of technology, bhartiya vidhyapeeth which comes on top of IPU rank list but due to my JEE rank was not able to get it but I'm still content with what I have. To get into my college u need to have a JEE rank around 4L for Tech branches and 6-7 L for other branches like Ece, Me etc. Admission experience was fine IPU delays the process alot but it was still manageable so overall fine...Read More

An okay choice if you want a GGSIPU govt. degree

I honestly didn't want to go to a private college , that was never my first choice even my last choice also but with my jee mains rank that was around one lakh ninety thousand I couldn't get any of the nits or some government college.The reason I chose this college because this college is affiliated to GGSIPU (guru gobind singh indraprastha university), so the degree is a government recognized one which can be valuable in the future.This was one of the main factor for me in the finalizing this college.
