I entered in CPMT -98 . I scored 81.75% marks and 106 rank. I opted for this college because it was considered the best in Uttar Pradesh.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was set by Medical counsel of India. It is divided into 9 semester and one year rotatory compulsory internship. There are four professional examinations , students have to clear. The training is of high standards and generates the very best doctors to serve the nation. The internship may be shifted to elsewhere if requested by the student.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, it provides Internship. 10 years ago the stipend was 2000/- per month. But this time it is approx Rs. 7000/- per month. I did not do my internship from KGMC so I cant tell about experience.
Placement Experience
After taking MBBS Degree, most of students want to prepare for post graduate degree. Not many of them are really interested in immediate placement. But those who are interested , there is a rate of 100% placement. They can join any hospital they wish to. Most of them prefer to New delhi government hospitals for attaining further experience.
Admission
After the qualifying exam results are declared , a counselling session was organised , where the college seats are allotted to each student according to their personal preference and availability of seats according to their rank. KGMU was the first choice among students holding the top ranks.
Faculty
The faculty includes the best trainers available in India. They are the most experienced doctors. The faculty works hard to prepare future doctors. as they have decades of experience in medical field , they can best accomplish it. there is a great degree of discipline maintained among the students .
