Remarks

Well one need to atleast have 60% marks in order to fill the application form. You can find the application form in the college website itself. There you can also find other relevant details like date of application, criteria, fees details and all. There is reservation policy for SC, ST, OBC, Christian and physically disabled students. I need to seat for an entrance exam as the whole admission procedure was online. The college has hostel facility, good infrastructure, library with 3000+books, well coordinated staff and professors. But the downfall is that the college doesn't provide the students with placements or internships. Plus point is that this College has ranked AA+ in NAAC for the last 3 years.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I love the subject and I wanna further study the subject. The faculty of Scottish is as excellent as one could possibly expect it to be. The professors are really helpful. The term exams was as per the University guideline and it was online so pretty easy to pass not even though it was online it was difficult for the students to get decent marks as the copy checking was really strict.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fees for my course was 12000 and semester fees(tuition fees) is 450. There are various types of scholarships available for all types of students. You can always find yourself one or more than one. There's scholarship policy for reserved students, for girls, for general students, for students with high academic performance.

Campus Life

Couldn't say much as I'm a online student till now but have heard that there a fest named Caledonia. And yes there are various social groups like drama club, dance club, singing club, debate club and so many others. I'm part of drama club and we sometimes have movie nights with batch mates and seniors and juniors. Sometimes we have story sessions where few of us shares Ghost experiences and it's kinda fun. I'm sure you'll get to see the bright sight of Scottish once you join in.

I didn't opt for these College because I knew Scottish was far better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

I also applied to the main university but didn't get a chance there. That is why I had to take admission in this blasted institution. I received the rejected from the University due to my lack of percentage in the paper called marksheet. That is what went wrong. The admission process is completely done through the internet. To apply one must have a minimum of 60 % marks in their previous courses. That allows you to fill up the application form. It was good to be a part of that college

You have to pass the 12 th boards with above 90% marks then only you'll get the college. They always have the application form and all the informations in there official college website. There was reservation policies as I was sc so it was a little bit low cut off for my reservation. The exam pattern and difficulty level was a little bit hard.
