yes to take admission in btech jee mains is necessary but sometimes if there are any vacant seats you take admission after the 12th pass in the science stream. Application form is available in Official website of college charges of form is Rs 200 its available from After jee mains result declared.yes you get reservation benefits if you take admission through jee mains. There is no need to improvement in admission process this process is good

Yes, I choose this course because this college is good environment and one thing is that it's a government college so instead to do btech in private college this college is good. There is lot of faculty members the ratio of faculty to student is 1:20. Their is well Qualified faculty but some teachers are not well qualified which are on guest basis.Some faculty members teaching method is not relevant but overall is good. Exams are taken timely and there is no too much difficult

Yes, every year fees are hiked by 10000 and now it is around Rs 100000 per year and cost to study is relevant. You can apply for any scholarships in college which are relevant to courses. I am not got any job on campus but I trying hard to get a job

Yeah of course annual fest is conducted every year and name of the fest is alumini in it every activity is considered like technical, social, sports etc. In a college library is available you take the books from there for semester studies.Every semster you got books from library no need to buy. Sports activity is conducted every year like cricket tournament, Football tournament, Volleyball tournament etc. lots of sports activity in campus.Yes there is clubs which are run by students but i don't know the names.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University.
