Remarks

The scholarship offered here is merit-based. I chose this college because it's great with placements and academic course here is very relevant and faculty members are very helpful and approachable.

Entrance Preview

For admission to BMS College of Engineering candidates have to apply for a national test such as KMAT, CMAT, MAT, KARNATAKA PGCET. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree with a 50% aggregate.

Course Curriculum Overview

BMSCE, MBA program offers four specializations in HRM, Marketing, General, Finance. Students who obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for the MBA program. It offers guest lectures, seminars, workshops, case-based learning, industrial visits, etc to prepare students to face the challenges.

Placement Experience

Placement in this college is pretty ok I got placed in good company with a good package. The highest package was 18 LPA and the lowest package was 5 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte, TCS, Amazon, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini, etc.

College Events

Various events are organized by the colleges are BMSCE Utsav, phase shift, Rotaract club BMSCE, NSS, Aerospace BMSCE, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees of BMSCE are pretty less than other business schools I.e, around 1 lacs in my opinion which is moderate.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. Classrooms are well maintained, the library is up to date with books, cafeteria, Wifi 24*7, sports ground, gyms, well-equipped labs, Medical facilities, indoor games, the hostel is well maintained hygienically.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good and well maintained with a proper water supply and separate rooms for boys and girls. Mess is food is hygienic. Wifi available 24*7, indoor games, gyms, etc.

Admission

For admission in BMSCE candidates have to apply for a test such as KMAT, CMAT, MAT, Karnataka PGCET, and then students have to apply for an application form from a website and based on the score of the test candidates will be shortlisted for another round. Eligibility criteria are must have a bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate marks.

Faculty

The faculty of BMSCE is very well versed and helpful. They are very approachable and patient with students. They are always ready to clear their doubts. They often gave us case studies to get to know our course better and in-depth.

High pressure is 80% attendance and some particular timings

Isme campus life review

Likes

We have good faculties, who are very friendly and approachable
Study matarial is also very helpful, we are getting enough information and learnings we want
Corporate exposure of this college is amazing...we are getting good internships related to our feild

Placement Experience:

240 recruiters come to this college....we have industry trajectory program, placement oriented term, mock interviews, workshops. We have average package of 8pla and highest package is 17 lpa. We have career opportunities cell which prepare you for summer internships and final placement. In ITP students get stipend between 25 to 40k.

Great learning exposure

Likes

Infrastructure, facilities , diversity , good for networking and banglore is a corporate hub so it's getting easy for to experience corporate speakers.
Hostel facilities, food facilities for students for those who are living in hostels.
And how they prepare us for the corporate world .and the faculty ratio in 1 :12 over there so small batch size leads to better concentration on students .

Dislikes

Timings of hostels for food and go back to hostel time

Placement Experience:

So in the isme the placements are 100% there are lots of companies visited for mass hiring and the average package is about between the 8lacs and 9lacs from the 5 semester we are eligible for the campus placement

Placement Experience:

The College placement is decent which is around 8 lakhs as an average and rest is upon the students how they gather knowledge and perform in interview. The percentage of placement of 95%. The companies visited here are KPMG , Deloitte, EY, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc.

Overall a good experience

Likes

Faculty is very approachable very helpful
Diversity in culture and small batch size so that everyone gets the opportunity
On campus hostel is very convenient there are 50% girls so it’s save

Dislikes

80% attendance is mandatory very disciplined
Every time you have to wear formals and timing of hostel is very strict

In the isme we all getting the opportunity to interact with companies and in isme we have trimesters so from 5 semesters our placements will start and there are good numbers of companies comes for placements and they offer good amount of packages

I like here faculty and there teaching style as well as approaching all students

Diversity - We have students from 24 states and gender ratio is equal in all the sections of the batch.
Faculties are very well qualified with a minimum of 10-years industry experience from IIT's & IIM's and also with international exposure.
Security in the campus is very robust which ensures complete safety of the students. Also, there is a separate warden in boys and girls hostel along with 2 security guards.

Dislikes

Discipline - The college is very strict regarding dress code and timings.

Placement Experience:

Last year, around 200+ companies came in our campus for recruitment from various sectors of various industries. Most of the students got converted through PPO's during the 4 to 6 month paid ITP program. Students become eligible for placements after passing all the exams in the third trimester and also after completing their POVAT courses. Top Companies that visited our campus are - Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y, Grant Thornton, Wipro, Dabur, Accenture, and many more. The average package was 9 LPA and the highest package offered was 17 LPA. The placement rate for the PGDM is 98%

My Campus Life.

Likes

It is very simple to find out collages . Thier website is very easy to use.
The campus life was very good i had done fun while i was in campus i have done many social interaction in campus i have done social work, fun and many otherthing.
The Excellent Faculity's Expertise. Teaching Method was very good and I get excellent mentorship quality.

Dislikes

I dont like the leave process of the university
and i dont like thier charging for low atteendence

Course Curriculum Overview:

The special Aspect was to do relevant things in curriculum that i influenced my decision to choose this course. They have preperes us in good manner for real world for compettions as well. The areas they have to improve is on industial visit shound done every 2 month not in 1 year. The teaching Method should be more didital. The Frequency and Timing of exam at 12pm noon . The ecam level is less difificult if you study.
