Remarks

The admission process was solely based on 12th marks. They combined CBSE, matriculation by converting marks of matriculation to 500 to match CBSE. They didn't consider the course stream of students in class 12 that students with commerce or arts and science were all together which I felt was a bit unfair.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I'm doing M. Sc Fashion design. There is nothing that seems a problem to me. It covers all the branches related to fashion and teaches the students. The practical classes are great with lots of IV. All the staffs in the department are female and some have Ph.D. in fashion.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Department of fashion design makes students go for internships during their 4th and 5th years. They provide some industries and allow students to choose their own. This is so helpful for students to get great exposure.

Placement Experience

4.5

More than 50% of students get placement in college. Lots of companies come for placement. For my department, lots of brands and industries come every year for placements and internships. Department also helps students to find a suitable company for them.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure seems a bit off compared to the other courses. But is ok for everything they cover in the syllabus. Scholarship programs are available for students and have to discuss with staff and the office. Scholarships are provided based on the 12th mark and others.

Campus Life

4.5

Infrastructure is great. The food provided by the college is good. There are lots of clubs that almost cover all types of hobbies and topics. Different types of sports are available through the physical education department.

Hostel Facilities

4

Girls hostel is so better compared to boys hostel. The rooms are older ones which may date back to the '90s or 2000s. But the environment in the hostel is beautiful and cool. Rules must be strictly followed by the first years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relavant to the coarse, iam a nutrition student and I came to study abot nutrition, but I have also learnt about microbiology, food evaluation, food making, food safety rules, food entrepreneurship etcc which increases the variety of opportunities based to the course. Iam happy that iam learning about diet planning which is why I chooses this course. It really helps in real world opportunities as they allow intership s,practicals, practices, competition etc.. The area it needs improvement is the language skills of the professors as there are other states students there some people cannot understand tamil so they have to teach intwo languages. The timings of exams is not that bad there is one and half month gap between exams.
