Remarks

JEE Mains is the test to get into this college and we should clear our 12th. For ECE in 2020, the required percentile is 97 and the rank is around 26000. For the OBC category students, the rank should be around 29000.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am from the electronics communication and engineering branch I chose this as I am interested in the course and the ratio is like for every 5 students there is one teacher. Teaching is quite good and many teachers completed their masters and for a semester we have one mid sem and one end sem.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In the third year, many students get internship opportunities Google, Samsung, Razorpay, and, etc companies take students for internship for a time period, and the stipend range from 10000to 50000. And the chances of getting an internship are good.

Placement Experience

In the 4th year, students are allowed in college placements but many students get an internship in the 3rd year and many students are placed in the company in which they worked as an intern the average package is around 8 LPA and companies like Google, Samsung visit the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually, the fee along with the hostel goes around 2 lakhs per annum and this depends on the parent's annual income and we can apply for many scholarships such as NSP FFE and if parents' income is below 5 lakhs 75% is refunded to the students.

Campus Life

Many clubs are there in NIT AGARTALA you can choose the base in your interest cultural fest is generally conducted in March and that is called moksha among all NIT'S nit Agartala has biggest sports complex.

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel room, they provide a bed, table, chair. Food is average and many canteens are available and the hostel fee is around 60000 yearly including mess. In the first Year, one room is allotted for 2 students and in the second year one room for one student.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience:

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

Campus placement is good for those who study ..ans from third year we are eligible..some of our senior also got PPO ..as cgpa also matters ..but not for every .. companies visited here is microsoft ,paypal ,uber, jp morgon and many more

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Students become eligible for placements after coming in 7th semester which is the start of 4th year. Multiple companies from both tech and core field visit the campus. Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

My views on NIT-A

Placement Experience:

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
