There are so much unique qualities in uiit that makes it one of the unique college in country yet there are chance of improvement from managerial sides of uiit as its a government institute, therefore no solid steps are taken form authorities for populari

I took JEE and AIEEE exams i didn't qualify JEE but I qualified AIEEE exam i could've taken B.Tech course at nit hamirpur ,but I chose uiit over nit this is because the faculty alongwith the environment was perfect in uiit the exposure is perfect for IT study at uiit this is because uiit is branch of Himachal Pradesh University which is an well established university in India. Extra curricular activities here at HPU add features to one's personalty and face reality of world so overall it's a great educational purposes environment.

Awesome combination of faculty and curriculum course at uiit it is the only deciding factor that differ uiit from other colleges providing the same course.

Internship at uiit has equal value as compared to any of the reputed company in India stipend is fixed at rs18000 per month for period of 3 months training getting internship in uiit is not a big deal because a Large number of companies like wipro tech, Infosys, infotech, tech mahindra, tcs, satyam regularly visit the campus but the problem is choosing a good company that'd profit the intern for his future.

Well, speaking of placement, I'd just say that from past 4 years 80%+ students got placed in campus placement I ,myself have already placed in October month at wipro tech. On my batch till date ,73 out of 140 students have already placed in various companies. So its great placement opportunities at uiit.

Annual cultural event is regular curriculum of uiit this years cultural event was Ned utkarsh reloaded and believe me it was best of event that I had ever seen. Along with cultural event, sports meet, annual dinner and fresher's party is also organizes at uiit also ,various inter-college competition also take place in uiit.

As uiit is government college therefore fee is according to the norms of government the annual fee is 75000 for btech course tuition fee 30000 per sem this fee is very reasonable ac compared to any of reputed organization. So I think it's feasible.

Gender ratio is poor at uiit this because there is very less girls that gets permission from there parents for perusing B.Tech apart from gender ratio, the workshops, college festivals and cultural events are really fun it feals great to be part of such kind of events political life is main part of HPU campus and uiit is primary focus of political leaders of HPU it teaches us good values and tolerance which is very beneficial in real life.

This is only lack side of uiit till this year no hostel facility is abi I'm uiit this is because lack of HPU support toward uiit but uiit is working on hostel facility it's also advantageous from one point life outside hostel shows you the reality of worl

To be honest, labs day are really hectic for some subjects that are not interested on the other hand some lab days are really enjoying and refreshing. Like C++ is my favourite subject and I always enjoy that labFinal exam are taken at the end of each seme

Faculty is extremely qualified as they teach the HPU courses as well they are quite experienced in training young lads.
