Remarks

I have applied to chitkara university of engineering and technology offline. You can get admission in chitkara if you have a minimum of 60% in physics, chemistry and mathematics. The admission criteria are very simple here.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to become an engineer. So, chitkara has a huge infrastructure for it. It had great experienced faculty. I am now in online method due to pandemics so I have great interest in the subject. Teachers are very ecofriendly

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are great here my seniors got very huge paid internships. internship starts from 5th sem and got to get a great exposure how companies work and which help a lot for placement in huge multinational companies

Placement Experience

The placement is very very good. 100 percent placement score is there 40-50 lakh highest package and 6-8 lakhs average package and had a great placement method. Very huge multinational companies came here for placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is like 81000 per semester and hostel fees are like 50000 including mess, laundry etc. There are a lot of restrictions on the campus. So overall experience is so good. And the overall experience is affordable

Campus Life

Social life and campus life is so good. There you gonna find everything. Gym, swimming pool, badminton court, table tennis, volleyball, cricket, basketball etc like everything which is needed in a university

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are so good and affordable here. Hostel fee is like 50000 per semester including mess, laundry etc. There is a lot of restriction in hostels, guards gonna check your bags on entry even water bottles.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges.
