Remarks

The overall counselling was done in BHU itself, I got my counselling letter on 3 July 2015 counselling was done on 17th of July on faculty of commerce (FOC) BHU. In the middle, I have filled the preference form online. Then on the 23rd of July, I found from the BHU website that I got VCW. Then I paid my fees online and the next day on the 25th I went to college, there they asked me to lock my seat but because my 1st preference is VCW, so I don't need to get worried. College administration gave me an admission form I have filled it and submit all other documents which I don't show at the time of counselling and yes from that time I became a VCWians.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I am a commerce student from 11th so B.com is the only option for me. There are overall 80 students in my class besides this there are seniors and super seniors they were very nice to us. My college belongs for art students, there is a class for Bed and B.com. there is no M.com that's why sometimes we feel like art students have given more priority than commerce students, we are limited to only one floor of a building which consists of 3 classes and one staff room. Professors are very supportive and they help you in any way they can help you. They know that we are preparing for competitive exams so they help in attendance also, so here you don't need to be worried about attendance but yes you have to meet teachers timely. There are a total of 6 professors at that time because of this sometimes we suffer as courses of some subjects didn't complete. But this happens only 2-3 times. After classes also if you can ask them freely in staff room they will help you.

Internships Opportunities

1

Now the college through different organisations provided internships, but only 1 or 2 percent of students get this opportunity. The internship program was started in the last year of college hope now the situation has gone better.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the first year, the total fees are 19000, in the 2nd year it hikes to 20000 and It remains the same in the 3rd year and the student who got the admission through paid seat have to pay 25000 plus fees. The hostel fee is 60000 per year. The food is tasty and healthy I learnt it from some of my friends. If you are a resident of UP then you can receive a scholarship from the UP government besides this there are some scholarship facilities given to sc st category by the college but it is difficult to get.

Campus Life

BHU conduct Spandan an annual fest every year for that the best group of our college is selected who represents our college in BHU. The process of this selection start 1 month before the Spandan it is celebrated like a festival. Our library has books but they are very old I think here they need to invest more. After the classes are over the students who are interested can opt for the sports mainly volleyball and kabaddi team of our college are strong beside this there are badminton, tennis, table tennis etc. Every year sports week is celebrated by the college in which students and teachers both participate. There is no election is done in college like other but there are various committees who looks after the college...they are like discipline committee cultural committee etc these consist of students having a convenor who have to report to respective teachers. Besides this, there is some gr. made for the students who feel depressed can share their problems.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core circular is moderately relevant but lens more forward theory than the practical application code, subject cover, fundamental concept and providing a base, but there is limited focus on industrial skill project work, coding or case studies which affect real world redness. Elective options are few restricting subject choice. The labour is mostly fake and really updated making it less aligned with the current industry. Trends exams are conducted twice a year medicine and M with internal contributing about 30% of the mark the frequency naval but timing of clashes with the critical session level is moderate theory tends to focus on road learning rather than the critical thinking. Overall the circular needs to more practical exposure, updated content and flexibility to prepare student for employment or higher studies.

The highest package of the college is 4 lakh per annum. The average package of the college is nearly about 2.5 Lakh per annum. The lowest package of the college is 1.8 lakh per annnum. Nearly about 50% of the students got placement from the college. After getting the degree, my plan is to pursue the higher studies and do government exams preparation.
