- The campus of vasanta college for women provide peaceful environment with a natural sideview of holy river Ganga.
- Different departments of vasanta college for women organises various workshops for skill development and promote innovation with various co- curiculum
- The library of the vasanta college provide all the books related to different courses with 15 days issue of any two books with the issued library card .And they also provide the facility of e - library.
Dislikes
- The management of college do not provide any clear information regarding the suitable scholarship that a student is eligible in offline mode,if asked they don't give any useful information.
- The new IT lab of the vasanta college for women is not providing any facilities to students ,even their entry is not allowed.
- The wifi of the campus is in poor condition .The wifi speed is below average around the campus everytime.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course - curriculum that are provided in the campus are not very relatable in my aspects. Sometimes they just feel like waste of time because they are irrelevant to specific courses that gives a extra burden to a students.
Internships Opportunities
Internships for marketing and skill management. These are generally and pain internships and we are paid in peanuts for attending these internships. 8k-15k is the general stipent amount. To manage the data of the company, to work for the growth and development of the organisation data entry, classification of the data, preparing balance sheet of profit and loss of the company, calculating expenditure of the company.
Placement Experience
Placements are generally for the courses like MBA BBA etc but they are not present in our college this is mainly for the main campus students and our collages affiliated. Right now there are general placements in the sectors of education it corporate banking etc and the average salary package per annum is 2.5 lacs
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of the B.Com(Hons.) course is 22200 which is quite high as compared to other institution and ther are various and specified scholarship of different departments with state and national scholarship.
Campus Life
The overall experience of my Vasanta College for women is average. there is a dedicated cultural committee for the celebration of cultural events in the college. Library is equipped with the latest technology and Wi-Fi. It also includes the latest education materials that are needed for the courses on going in the campus. Sports day is celebrated in the college Ahmedabad distribution takes place. Kabaddi match badminton and basketball match is regularly held in the campus court. NSS campus and swachata abhiyan programs are regularly held.
Admission
For the admission procedure a entrance exam is conducted by CUET and the application form,fees and dates all are provided in online form. And the eligibility criteria is decided by bhu but the procedure was a little lengthy .
Faculty
The Department of Commerce consists of 6 faculty members having their PhD. They are cooperative and helpful in nature. They provide time-to-time mentorship regarding plans and difficulties that occur. They often interact with students to solve their problems in their studies. They also provide a lot of learning materials to students.
