College faculty was good and professor was so helpful and kind
Environment of college is so good and their library is quiet good also. vasanta provides a good environment for study.
The course curriculum is well enough for us our university is providing every single nessary things which we wanted my faculty is wellen good and provide good teaching staffs and good infrastructure too..

The management of college do not provide any clear information regarding the suitable scholarship that a student is eligible in offline mode,if asked they don't give any useful information.
No we don't get any opportunities from companies ... we have to find by our own and ba is not a complex degree and it doesn't provide any opportunities to the students ... no projects are given to pursue
Sometimes they just feel like waste of time because they are irrelevant to specific courses that gives a extra burden to a students.

The aspect of the colleage i loved is it's surroundings and yeah certain facilities is good too
The effectiveness of place ment services is good and the support provide for career development too
The colleage is good for professional and personal development

Dislikes

The teachers most of them are like very bad like the way they behave with you
Most of the teachers don't know english english
Teachers and staffs of our colleagues doesn't even know when the colleage will be close ,open ,exams etc etc. ..they don't have an responsiblyty

I just liked the course not by their curriculum and it didn't influence me ,the curriculum pretty much prepare you for real world application further academic pursuits The area of improvement is ofcourse the way they reach the timing of exams and difficulty suckss too much

Teachers are very supportive. Easy to talk and they are very friendly
Gym facility is also available without any payment.
Canteen and fruit stall is also very good.

Dislikes

Campus is in a bit remote area as it is in outskirts of varanasi near rajghat
They are delaying the dates of allotments of minor subjects.
Washrooms needs to be in a healthy situation and hygienic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well! I love studying geography as it makes us know about earth's features and interesting facts and reasons about our wonderful earth . Studying geography we can prepare for upsc and many government exams and so on . Professors are also good .

Diversity of the college , despite being a girls college , the majority of the Populus belongs from different states
Attention to Extracurriculars and academic events
Library and other facilities like canteen , basketball court and how accessible transport is

Dislikes

A slow academic year as compared to other or private institutions

The course is very relevant considering the recent time with all the political incidents happening it is important for us to realise our cultural heritage and this course plays in important part in helping the students enlighted towards parts of the history that they would previously unaware of.

Campus is quite beautiful as it is situated near bank of ganga . Serene atmosphere, beautiful greenery is so mesmerizing
Teachers are quite polite and they maintain a friendly environment there
Basic infrastructure and extensive campus alongwith good Library and canteen

Dislikes

Campus's location is quite remote as it is in outskirts of varanasi.
Personally i didn't liked the condition of washrooms there . They should maintain cleanliness there.
Irregularities in timings and lack of info. Too much dealy in alloting minor subjects

Placement Experience:

I guess from 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The highest and average package as per company and profile offered is 4-5 lackhs per annum. And my plans after getting degree is that i wanna try for defence jobs.

Life at Vasanta college for Women!!

The college has a serene atmosphere and everyone is friendly over here . There are a lot of trees and that makes it a bit cooler than the rest of the areas.
The teachers are really helpful and motivating .
There are a lot of cultural activities held for students as well.

Dislikes

It gets really humid in the months from may to September so i think there should be AC in classes .

The curriculum is very up to date and this year in 2024 they have also adopted the National Education Policy ( NEP2020) and the syllabus has changed in accordance to that .The exams arent all that difficult if you paid attention in class and studied properly all year long. You must attend classes regularly and make all the noes properly and follow the instructions of the teacher . There are exams held every semester .Mostly the first semester exam starts from November - December. I think the teaching methods are conventional and thus they can also add e learning sort of things . Like digital classrooms etc . Which will help understand the course better .

Beauty of VASANTA COLLEGE FOR WOMEN (BHU)

The campus is very beautiful , it surrounded by the bank's of ganga river,the view is insane,rhe in comparison to other affiliated college of BHU,VCW has largest campus
Professors here are very friendly, they coperate with u in every field and the lectures are interactive tooo
Vcw has enriched library with beautiful ambiance of library to sit in and study,the college canteen is also very good

Dislikes

One the main things of discomfort,is the location of college in which it is situated,as it in the outskirts of Varanasi
And one can feel difficulties in finding public transport
And if u opt for hostel,the fees of hostel is very much that 1 lakh for a academic year

College area like it is situated in back of markets,but on the upper side of namo ghat

The campus of vasanta college for women provide peaceful environment with a natural sideview of holy river Ganga.
Different departments of vasanta college for women organises various workshops for skill development and promote innovation with various co- curiculum
The library of the vasanta college provide all the books related to different courses with 15 days issue of any two books with the issued library card .And they also provide the facility of e - library.

Dislikes

The management of college do not provide any clear information regarding the suitable scholarship that a student is eligible in offline mode,if asked they don't give any useful information.
The new IT lab of the vasanta college for women is not providing any facilities to students ,even their entry is not allowed.
The wifi of the campus is in poor condition .The wifi speed is below average around the campus everytime.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally for the courses like MBA BBA etc but they are not present in our college this is mainly for the main campus students and our collages affiliated. Right now there are general placements in the sectors of education it corporate banking etc and the average salary package per annum is 2.5 lacs

Discipline is something which I liked the most about my college.
The Professors are very cooperative towards students.
Cleanliness and safety of the college which has to be Appreciated.

Dislikes

No digital facility available regarding studies
Some times professors delays the lecture
Medical Facility is not available in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course which I opted is very much helpful for me in future as it can help in business management and administration and it also helps us to focus more on co-operate sector and banking sector. The course curriculum should be more practical and implied towards the real life situations. And the timing of exams especially for the numerical papers like tax and accounts should be improved.

A Vibrant Institution for learning and growing!!

The infrastructure is nice. The campus is neat and clean and well maintained with so many plants and trees. There is greenery on every side of the colleges. Different types of beautiful flowers and there, and Ganga River on back side of the college.
The Faculty is highly qualified and well trained with many more years of experience. Many publishers and authors are a part of the faculty of this college. They provide good mentorship to the students and guide them well for ahead of their careers.
There is Fruit Chat Corner, Canteen, Library and And Playground. Also there is a Gym on the ground floor beside the auditorium. Auditorium is spacious and there is a culture of sitting on Eco-friendly mats in this auditorium.

Dislikes

The Irregularities in the timings of the classes and also the lack of punctuality in the faculty members. We wasted our hours in waiting for the teacher and suddenly we get to know that there is no class. Miscommunicated tudents missed their classes
The canteen provided a very limited list of food items. Many of these were just Fast foods like samosa, maggie, kurkure, noodles etc. The students who came from hostel required a healthy food like daal chawal, roti-sabzi at least in college canteen.
The hostel provides by the college is very much costly. Yes it provides good food and health facilities but still the amount they charged was out of budget for so many candidates who came to take admission.

Placement Experience:

Generally there are not specified records of placements. The students of commerce department get placed through the Internship Opportunities that come to our college. For other departments there are skill based programs and personality enhancement training that can contribute in increasing the calibre of students.
